Chef proprietor Dylan McGrath & his team have created this more casual dining experience for Fade Street Social. The Woodfired Restaurant has a menu featuring wood-fired dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re catching a show at the theatre, heading out for a night on the town, or simply enjoying a meal with friends, this part of Fade Street provides a fun, yet relaxed and more affordable dining experience.

The Woodfired menu specialises in cooking food over hot coals, to achieve more unique flavours and textures. The smoke from the coals imparts a smoky flavour, while the heat caramelises the sugars in the food, creating a crispy exterior and a tender interior. Wood-fired cooking is a traditional cooking method that has been enjoyed for centuries, we've now brought some of that to Fade Street Social.

Ascend to the first floor and discover our New York-style cocktail bar and roof garden, offering snacks, cocktails, great music and fantastic views.

The food was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic; however, the service was very disappointing. On several occasions, we had to rise from our table to try and catch a waiter, and it took a long time to find anyone to assist us with settling the bill!

Big and on the trendy side but not as crowded as the word would imply. Not particularly Irish—you could be in Chicago or Seattle. Good cooking, just a little too pricey.

We went on a Sunday specifically for the Sunday Roast menu and even though it was slightly after the time they stopped serving it, the hostess checked with the kitchen and they confirmed they could still do it for us. The servers and everyone on the staff were friendly and attentive. Delicious food and nice wine and cocktail list.

We ordered the whipped goat cheese and a spinach pizza. The goat cheese was amazing! It practically has a salad on top of it. It was delicious! The pizza was also good and I used the crust to scoop up the rest of the goat cheese.

If you want to order from the Early Evening menu, don't go on a weekend. I'd phoned the restaurant to inquire about times for that menu, but wasn't told it was only for weekdays - disappointing! The medium-rare sirloin from the dinner menu was tough and over-priced for what it was. Again disappointing. There were seven in our party. No one was really raving over their meal - mediocre at best. My grandson ordered fish and chips from the kid's menu. He seemed to enjoy his meal the most. Overall quite an underwhelming experience and I wouldn't return.

Great service from the moment we arrived. 8oz sirloin looked a little on the small side and I’d have like a little more searing on it. Wife’s pork belly main was to die for.

Get the carrots! Great shareables, cocktails, and team. Sat outside on a sunny y day and enjoyed the passers-by and neighboring tables. We all agreed, get the carrots!

Absolutely amazing food - the woodfired pizza was the best I have ever had and the chateaubriand was also top notch cooked to perfection, sides were all delish too. Service was brilliant and they even brought us a little complimentary anniversary dessert. Will definitely be back.

Visited on a Monday night with friends. Great welcome, friendly and helpful staff. Food was top notch. Fresh fish, tender meat. Delicious. Wine was very good but on the expensive end! I’d happily go back.
