Very good food and ambience but a bit disappointing that we were asked to vacate our dining table as we looked to order additional drinks

have had wonderful experiences here in the past but this recent experience was extremely disappointing— the food vacillated between tasteless and over salty, the plates that arrived didn’t match the description on the menu, the fish tasted frozen and sad, the service was inept, the manager was aggressive. all in all, an overpriced disappointment. there’s too many good restaurants in dublin to waste time here again.

We had such a fabulous dinning experience last night at Fade Street Social. Pre-drinks in the lively cocktail/wine bar upstair with subtle, smooth funky tunes by a live DJ, before heading downstairs to the main restaurant where the amazing ambience continued! Impeccable service, mouth watering dishes, wonderful choice of masterfully selected wines and the appetising aromas filtering down from the team of skilful chefs above. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing not only impeccable taste but also a deep understanding of flavor and presentation. To our waiter Joe, thank you for giving us the ultimate dinning experience and a night to remember. The atmosphere, service, and overall dining experience is a true testament to the creativity, passion and attention to detail of a culinary genius that is Dylan McGrath. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable dining sensation!!

Our experience was very mixed On a positive note the food was excellent. On the downside, the restaurant was extremely overbooked and the kitchen could not cope- we only got our table an hour after booking time and our first course was delivered two hours after booking time. This was disappointing with babysitters booked to get home to, a number of the party had to leave before we were finished. Lovely food, very disappointing service.

It was just a bit manic and noisy, not a relaxing dining experience, Ok if you are a large group looking for a boisterous time but if you are a couple or a small group looking for a catch up and a nice meal with a good atmosphere there are probably better places to go thst are not just as chaotic.

We had dinner on friday night and was very nice atmosphere. Food outstanding and perfectly cooked steaks! Good selection of wines and very attentive staff!

The negative comment - I feel for the business / restaurant as they were short staffed when we dined. I also appreciate the challenge the F&B industry is facing currently. Although no harm in flagging your short staffed but you will do your best just to let it be known to the customer. The short staff resulted in not be offered water, more drinks when needed and then clearing plates shortly after meal was finished. However having brought this to the attention of the manager (who was called in having ran the marathon earlier in the day!) he was very friendly and waived the service charge fee. Now for the positives....The communication received in booking and changing our booking re number of people was excellent. The staff were very accommodating with the buggies and the food was really nice. If there were just slightly more staff then it would be 5 / 5. Notwithstanding the comment re service I am more than happy to recommend this place.

Food quite disappointing tbh. Roast beef nice but sides disappointing and no horseradish sauce??plates cold so food got cold very quickly. No sides with the steak at all and the sauce when it did arrive was watered down excuse for peppercorn sauce. Lovely cheesecake dessert. Very expensive for very average food. Service while pleasant was very slow and had to ask repeatedly for sauces and water. Big let down overall I’n afraid.
