This is a great spot to meet for brunch on a rainy weekend. Lots of room inside and a cosy wood and brick ambiance. Six of us ordered off a brunch menu with lots of variety and pretty reasonable prices for a down town eatery. Free coffee refills and decent decaf too which was a treat. Our server brought everything promptly and gave everyone the right meal which was impressive. She also divided up the bill correctly at the end between 3 couples and took a good group phot of our family reunion, so that was service above and beyond. My smoked salmon toast was excellent and I substituted a salad for the potatoes, so that made a good healthy brunch. Would definitely return as you can reserve ahead.

Honestly, everyone raved about the food. Perfectly cooked, perfect temp, perfect timing. But even more was the service. Just outstanding.

Disappointed with quality of food, eggs Bennys were served with tater tots plus no garnish. I’ve been to Fable on 4th and the food was better quality. Service was good. The ambience was dark and main dining area was mostly empty for a holiday Monday.

Sorry for your experience. We are a big room, so it can look slow, even with 4-9 tables, which would look quite busy on West 4th.

Slow service - took 45min before I had to talk to a server to take our food order. The restaurant was not particularly busy while we were there. Our food came out cold, like it had been sitting out before being brought to our table.

Was here for the Valentines special with my partner. Have been to the other Fable locations in the past and personally have enjoyed them much more. The food was ok, but underwhelming compared to the mt Pleasant and Kits locations. Service was very good, loved the ambiance, was just disappointed with the quality of the food since we’ve had such great experiences with it before

We were there with a group of 18 on 7 different bills. The food came out promptly and almost all at the same time, service was friendly and efficient, food was interesting and tasty. Good drink options. Our only complaint was that the minors weren’t allowed in the pool table area. Recommended.

Had their special brunch for Dine out Vancouver. I ordered the Mimosa, Avocado Smash Toast and my friend ordered a spicy Cesar and the Breakfast. The pineapple Mimosa was yummy and so was her Cesar. The sweet bread starter was tasty. My Avo Smash would have been better if the bread was toasted better and was thicker - it was soggy. The beet hummus was bland and the whole dish just so-so. Would recommend the potato wedges - crunchy on the outside and tender inside. My friend’s breakfast was also just so-so. Other tables ordered sandwiches or burgers which looked amazing so maybe we didn’t order the best dishes. The staff were super friendly and efficient.

We visited for Brunch and the dine out Vancouer offer. The dining room and service were good and the menu was enticing. I ordered eggs Bennie with smoked salmon, it was tasty, but clearly it was waiting to be delivered as the food was only mediocrely warm and the hollandaise sauce was cold to put it mildly. Solve these problems and a 5/5 would be justified as it was very tasty.

Great food and friendly staff. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation, but that was not an issue. The waitress was very helpful and kind. We will definitely return.
