We went for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and took our two teens. Fabbrica really knocked it out of the park! Each dish was excellent - grilled squid and mozzarella sticks, 3 different pastas and a pizza as well as dessert.all their staff were friendly and professional. We loved the ambience too. Would highly recommend!

We've been to Fabbrica in Thornbury many times but last nights meal was a definite stand out! The outdoor patio is gorgeous, private, and has great lighting. I am a celiac and I ordered the Italian Chop salad and Gluten free pasta with the braised rib ragu. My daughter ordered the oysters and the Shrimp off the main menu and she really enjoyed it. The wine list is varied with many delicious options.

Excellent service from our server Brandon. Food: Appetizer- we ordered the Fritti and it was delicious! Pizza: pepperoni pizza was amazing. Spaghetti de mare: very good. The restaurant is very nice, with a calm and clean ambiance. After reading a few reviews related to the bad service and unfriendly hostess, I was fully prepared to leave but was pleasantly surprised. Also we were seated in the front dining area, not the pathway that other diners mentioned. Very happy about that. Thank you to our server who made our dinner experience great. I may or may not return but happy to have given this place a try.

The restaurant has been gutted of staff and clientele who have migrated down the street to The Port Tavern, it seems. A distinctly average experience.

First time visiting. We moved to Collingwood from Mississauga 8 months ago and after trying many restaurants in the area, I can finally say we have found one that isn’t a roadhouse pub grub type of place, that actually delivers what it promises, at a standard we’re accustomed to. Our server Brandon was outstanding, the food was excellent quality and I can’t wait to return.

Stellar service, excellent food and lovely atmosphere. My steak was cooked perfectly and the dessert special was exceptional. Definitely a great dining experience!

Overall the food and service was good. But the portion size for the price felt like robbery. We ordered the octopus appetizer for $28. All it came with was 1 tiny little tentacle and 1.5 fingerling potatoes. Only the pizza and veal was adequate for the price. Everthing else including $44 special for the risotto that came with only 3 shrimp (which were over cooked) was incredibly tiny.

Short of staff and service was abnormally slow. Apparently they are now splitting staff with The Port Tavern. Also, the specials were very over-priced for what we got. The regular menu items are much better value. Very disappointed as we have always had great meals and service before.

Perhaps it started at the door The hostess in the black shorts and white top should welcome patrons with a smile rather than a grumpy demeanour. We were seated at a tiny table for 2 across the eggplant wall. It was the main gateway to the patio. Way too much traffic. There were other tables in the main dining that were empty during our dining time. I guess we could have asked to move but didn’t want to be those people especially with the greeting at the door. Our server was friendly and attentive. We shared the mozzarella appetizer and it was good. My daughter had the steak special, it was cooked to her liking . I had the Cacio Pepe pasta. Both dishes were tasty but presentation wasn’t what we were expecting. The hype for this restaurant is a bit overrated.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It is not cheap but it is a lovely experience.
