Food was awesome and the design was impressive to say the least! Everything in this place was photo worthy. Thanks for making the experience a good one, we will be back for dinner again. I wish I remember the servers name because she was great and so was the manager.

Portion size, portion size, portion size. I would say the food tastes good but I simply didn’t get enough of it. For the price, that was disappointing. I’ve been to other restaurants in the city with similar price point with much larger servings. Drinks were delicious and service was nice enough. The ambience was nice and lively. Aside from that, no reason to return. Another thing I noticed is the manager walking around to greet customers. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. He never stopped by our table and noticed he never stopped at tables with black guests. He was black. lol. We won’t be back.

Went to Zuzu for a girls night - food was very good, ambiance was perfect, we sat outside and had a great view of the city! The service was also great, we had Rosario, def ask for him!

Very odd / lengthy entrance. We had a reservation & upon entering, host was on the phone and did greet / acknowledge us, ask if we had a reservation… but then continued on his phone call for 5-7 minutes. Another staff member approached us and said he’d be with us in a minute. Once he was finally off the phone, we then had a confusing and lengthy exchange about which menu we wanted (dinner or happy hour) and we told him we wanted to look at both. He would not seat us until we chose which menu. So we had to stand for another 5+ minutes at the host stand to look at both menus before he would seat us. I just found the whole process lengthy, unnecessary and not a great customer experience. Once seated we had lovely, professional timely service with great recommendations. Food was excellent and times appropriately. Serve was cognizant of our time constraints and times her service and delivery of check appropriately. Ambiance / decor was very cool. Overall a good experience but the whole host / welcoming process was very off putting. Perhaps the host needs more training or they need to do a better job of explaining the menu / seating discrepancies for a better customer experience.

I came in for my birthday and the ambiance was absolutely beautiful! Service was amazing and the drinks were good! I got the Dr. Bruce Banner and that was my favorite drink of the night but I also tried the Mai tai (v cute) and the what we do is secret they were okay flavor wise. I don’t think the food portions or flavor was worth the price although the presentation was lovely.

My girlfriend and I were downtown Detroit touring and randomly came across Zuzu. It was 1pm and noticed they had an outside bar. We decided to belly up to the bar and see what they had to offer. What a very impressive restaurant. The bartender Ashley was telling us that they just recently opened for lunch so that was a bonus as we found it difficult to find places down here around lunch time. They had some specials on liquor, I think it was called Secret, to drink. My girlfriend loved it. It was PINK (go figure) and bubbled (go figure). We had sushi and let me tell you I LOVE sushi and this was the best I ever had. So if you are downtown make sure to check this place out!

Dined at Zuzu for dinner for our anniversary and had a fabulous time. We were greeted by a friendly host who acknowledged our anniversary. We had an option to dine on the patio or indoor seating. My wife chose outside because she said in Michigan we need to appreciate the short Summer we have. Desire was our server. She rocked! She did an amazing time walking us through the menu and suggesting some of the top dishes. The view was amazing. Food was phenomenal. The manager came over wishing us a happy anniversary and thanked us for choosing Zuzu to celebrate our special day. What a great touch! We highly recommend this restaurant!
