EVO North Scottsdale is a comfy & cozy Italian influenced restaurant located on Scottsdale road just north of Kierland. We offer a light Italian menu which is complemented by our handmade pasta, pizza and dessert. EVO is a comfy and cozy place to relax and meet your friends or to make new friends!
EVO has happy hour from 4-6pm daily with late night food served until 1:30am daily!

Sat at a bar top table and was not impressed with the service. Bartenders trying to take care of tables at the same time...didnt work. no communication with the food servers. They delivered our salad and pasta together, so then when we complained they took back the pasta to keep it warm and forgot to make the other pasta dish, altogether. Mess. Food was good, service not so much.

We were seated directly in the sun. We complained. Then, they tried placing us next to toilet room and kitchen.

Reserved a table for 2 first it’s like the only table where the sun is beaming on you would think if someone reserves you would like to place them in a decent spot . I asked to be seated somewhere else hostess couldn’t accommodate the request so we gave it a chance and sat at the bar . I’m not one to complain but someone’s appearance shouldn’t matter I believe we were being discriminated not sure if it was our appearance, age or what but the server Kat attended to 2 other couples faster than us even though we sat there before both of them and I’ll just let the cat out the bag were 2 younger Hispanics and the other couple were 2 older Caucasians . I let that slide but she kept passing us and going to them I was going to walk out until the second bar back arrived and he was attentive and talkative to us I easily spent 2 times what the other couples spent and I tipped at least like $50 just cause the second bar back helped us out ,the manager came and apologized and didn’t make any excuses for her , and for the cook cause I know they can all get part of the tips if the servers want to . You can probably skip The margherita pizza and chicken Alfredo they were okay but the whipped feta and steak were pretty good the steak had great flavor and cooked perfectly had a nice braze but still tender .

We usually love EVO North so decided to attend their Valentine Day event but was disappointed. Poor service & value. Highly recommend this restaurant otherwise:)👍

Disappointing Valentine's experience on a prefixed menu. The one additional thing we ordered was the lobster tail and it was so under cooked it practically flopping around on the plate. When I brought it to the servers attention he promptly removed it and offered to bring out a new, fully cooked one. Minutes later he came back with the same lobster tail, but now clearly cut and prodded at, and said "chef said it's cooked all the way." Just brutal. I left the lobster on a separate side plate and after another ten minutes the server came back and noticed I hadn't eaten it, and offered to bring out a new one. I said it didn't matter, I was just going to eat my steak and potatoes anyway and I'd take it home and cook it there. He removed it and brought out another one, and of course by that point we were onto dessert so I put it in a To Go box. I appreciate the servers persistence in trying to make it right; but was REALLY disappointed in the chef and lack of management accountability, anyone anywhere coming by to try and make the situation right. It was just a disappointing way to spend a very rare night out, especially on such a special occasion. This location is not close to us or easy for us to get a babysitter to visit but we had heard so many great things we figured it was worth the effort. It was not.

The food was excellent and the pre selected menu options were incredible! The only thing that made the experience lack luster was the service and the servers attitude. He barely gave us the time of day most times, but other times he would act friendly. It was very difficult getting a read on what to expect when he came back each time. Other than that we definitely would love to try it again!

Two couples celebrating ones birthday. Our first time there, The other couple had been there and recommended EVO. Large restaurant, was accommodating several groups. Glad we had reservations. We had a table by the windows. We started with 2 appetizers, the Whipped Feta with sliced green apples and the fried Burrata, they were both outstanding. Entrees included the Crispy Lasagna(the top layer had a lovely crunch), Short rib stuffed shells served with a lovely mushroom sauce. And a Bolognese with a meatball. For desert, order the buttercream cake early as they make it to order and they brought out a complimentary slice of their chocolate cake for the birthday boy!! All was tasty and fresh. Will definitely return.

Waitress was not excited to be there. Entire staff, except for the young hostess appeared unmotivated. Food items had a lot of ingredients that no one has ever heard of except the Chef. Not my favorite.
