Eva means full of life. It is also the initials to my children, Elias & Vivian Aboujaoude, who are my life. Eva is a space designed to be welcoming and bright, a place for great food, refreshing cocktails and lively conversation. All while sitting back to enjoy and observe the hustle & bustle of beautiful, historic Newbury Street from one of the largest outdoor patios.

The food was mediocre and high priced for what it was, although the prices are moderate. Avocado toast arrived with a thin smear of avocado, barely visible on the toast. A waffle was both ice cold and had just a few berries on it. There is a TV in one corner by the bar, so there were sounds of loud cheers every so often. This was in addition to an almost unbearably loud room in which my companion and I needed to shout to hear each other. Our server was wonderful but she couldn’t compensate for the otherwise poor experience. there are lots of good restaurants in the area. Go to one of those rather than here.

Very poor service - we chose to ignore the previous reviews and we shouldn't have. We had a reservation and were told it would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later we were seated at a table that was open when we walked in. Then, towards the end of the dinner, they asked us to 'hurry up' so the could seat a large group. Food and drinks were mediocre at best - certainly not worth the cost. Pasta was good. Tomato soup was overly sweet, and drinks were not good. There are certainly better choices in the area

First time here at Eva and it was fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful and ambiance is perfect - and our server, Danny, couldn’t have been better! Personable, attentive, and had great recommendations for food and drink. And everything was delicious to boot. Can’t wait to return!

Our server spilled a full glass of water on me, the table, and my phone. Was hardly apologetic and didn’t comp us anything. Food was good but didn’t make up for the poor service. I was bummed as I was looking forward to dining here.

The down bad drink was just terrible. The restaurant was very cold inside which was a surprise. The espresso martini was just delectable and scrumptious, order the creamy. Lamb chops were banging, but not worth the value of $45. The short rib with gnocchi was amazing.

A fantastic choice among many great choices. Eva is a must visit any time I’m in Boston. The octopus and scallops were excellent and the team at Eva made dining alone a wonderful experience.

My friends and I loved this place. Perfect location and beautiful ambience. The burgers at this place were tasty. Liked the Bloody Mary cocktail I had.

A group of 4 of us came here for a friend’s birthday Sunday brunch and they were out of waffles, French toast, pancakes, duck confit, and hash. The server was very rude and not approachable, she seemed to have a different personality and be a completely different person at each table, this was very weird and made us think she didn’t like us for some reason? The food took an hour to come out and two girls didn’t get their bacon (that’s part of their entree), the waitress did not check in on us so after about 10 minutes we got her attention and she brought out one plate of bacon for the two of them to share….. which was the same size as the side bacon one other girl got. Not a great experience and will not be returning here.
