etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

Etch offers two private dining spaces for hosting meetings, receptions, and special events. The Iris Room can accommodate up to 12 guests; the Cardinal Room can accommodate up to 32 seated guests. A prix fixe menu is offered to private dining groups, and we are happy to offer customized menus and beverage options for your guests.

Everything we ordered was just fabulous. Maxine was our server and perfectly attentive. Highly recommend the filet and the roasted cauliflower. So glad Etch is now in Franklin!

This might be our new favorite restaurant in Franklin. We savored every bite of each dish we had. Brought an out of town couple with us and they were very impressed by the taste/presentation of the food as well. The Caesar kale salad had such an interesting horseradish spin, and the pork ribeye was the best pork dish I’ve ever had - paired so nicely with its veggie sides. Service was excellent. The only negative was they were out of two wine/beer selections we chose. Everything else was top notch and we will certainly be back!

We were there to celebrate our wife’s birthday and the experience was perfect. Our waiter, David was fantastic- striking the perfect balance of attentiveness and space to enjoy our company and food. The food was exquisite! And quite frankly, heads and shoulders above anything else in downtown Franklin. Thank you!

The food was innovative and delicious. It’s pricey, but coming from a person who is notoriously cheap and hard on restaurants, Etch was literally worth every penny! The service and ambiance were equally amazing! So impressed and looking forward to heading back!

Two people had the pork which was amazing. One person had the chicken which was dry and I had the scallops which were loaded with salt and I couldn’t eat them ! This was after asking for no salt in my dish - very disappointing especially since it was A $51 dollar dish

We had been to Etch in Nashville, had a great meal, and were impressed by almost everything, down to the bread service. We wanted to try the Franklin location to see if it was as good. I wonder if they are still getting the kinks out, as this is a new spot. The bread service was mediocre. Where Nashville had fresh, warm, homemade bread, and three compound butters; these rolls were sloppy, everything bagel seasoning that just got on everything, crumbly, and the butter had almost no flavor. The entrees were pretty good flavor-wise, the salad needed extra dressing due to its dryness. The scallops were cold, and the chicken tenders for my daughter had absolutely no flavor or seasoning at all. Even mcnuggets have more flavor. For two adults and one child at $135, I expected more. Bright spots are the service, and staff, and the brussel sprouts. I hope they step it up.

Wonderful Friday night dinner date. No sit-down tables available when I made the reservation, so opted for seats at the counter, which was actually a pretty cool spot, watching the kitchen prep. Server was attentive and efficient. Food was excellent- actually saw Chef Deb walking around. The chef's fish special (with an Asian flare) was amazing.
