etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

Etch offers two private dining spaces for hosting meetings, receptions, and special events. The Iris Room can accommodate up to 12 guests; the Cardinal Room can accommodate up to 32 seated guests. A prix fixe menu is offered to private dining groups, and we are happy to offer customized menus and beverage options for your guests.

Celebrate the end of 2024 in style! Join us for a special four-course prix fixe menu presented by our culinary team, complete with optional drink pairings. The dinner is $125++ per person and wine pairings are an additional $55 per person. This special menu will be offered in lieu of our regular dinner menu this evening. We look forward to ringing in the new year with you!

Enjoyed Etch in Franklin just as much as the downtown restaurant. Inventive menu with some exotic foods, all well prepared.

Etch is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant with locations in Franklin and downtown. The food is always excellent and the service is top notch. Give it try and you won’t be disappointed

We were a party of five who received a warm welcome from the hostess. Our server, Diana was excellent and the food was outstanding. We certainly will be returning!

Great drinks and dessert. The main courses were a little underwhelming. Cool spot overall and convenient.

Food and service was outstanding, but it was a little noisy. The staff had hand signed a note and left us a Happy Anniversary card on the table. Nice touch!!

As a resident of Franklin, I am very pleased to have etch - Franklin as a fine dining option at The Factory. etch - Franklin, like its well-established sister restaurant in Nashville, offers fine dining in an elegantly understated space, this one inside the main building at The Factory, which is a collection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment spaces inside a renovated former stove factory. I see this as more of a special occasion restaurant as it is a bit pricey. Service was very good, and the food was excellent. I look forward to dining here again soon.

I got Scallops they were cold. We got the Brussel Sprouts they did not have enough sauce on them. The Heirloom Tomatoes were not ripe enough. The other two people with me did not enjoy the flavors of the food.

This was our first time at an Etch location and we had a lovely time! This location is in The Factory in Franklin which is a mix of retail and more fast casual dining options so a restaurant that is truly a sit down dining is such a win for this space. We were seated at the counter which gives you a full display of the kitchen. This definitely added to my overall review because it is a fun bonus to watch the process as well as get to have to quick chat with Chef Deb! There was not a dish we had that wasn’t enjoyable. All items, even the duck tart, were generously portioned. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to the scallop dish. There were only 3 scallops, which were not very large in size, so for the price you’d hope to have at least 4. We’re excited to see how the menu adapts season to season!

As we are big fans of Deb Paquette for years, we had to try the new Etch at the Factory at Franklin. We’ve been to each of her other restaurants Etch downtown, Etc, and Jasper multiple times. Each time we leave thinking how fantastic the flavors and food combinations are in the meal. Our meal last night was Smoked Carpaccio for appetizer, Horseradish Caesar salad, along with Scallops and Salmon. Each were excellent, and recommend each to everyone. The wine selection by the glass was excellent, and we enjoyed two glasses each. We recommend sitting at the Chefs Counter which allows you to watch the busy kitchen during your meal. Lastly, we were fortunate to spend some time with Deb talking during our fantastic dinner.
