Estera is housed in the historic district of downtown Christiansted on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our exciting take on classic American flavors filter through the dining experience—from the first bite to the last. Expect to see menu items that are uncategorized, fluid and changeable with consistent dinner specials.

Our open kitchen layout and intimate indoor space embodies an ambiance of clean simplicity, warm neutral tones, and a modern industrial feel. The wait staff was great, but I swear there is some infighting between the servers and kitchen staff. The food was bad and the servers knew it was going to be bad, they couldn’t good a steak to save their lives

My family and I really enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance at this restaurant. One of our guests had a food allergy, and the restaurant took extra care and caution, which is very important. We made reservations weeks in advance, and I can see why we needed to. Of course, the food is great, but the place is smaller than we expected, so they can not accommodate many people simultaneously.

My hubby and I went on Christmas Eve, which also is his birthday. The service was amazing! Very attentive. From the cocktails to dessert, everything was delicious. We shared the orzotto. He had the spare rib (huge portion) and I had the spaghetti Limone. We then shared pistachio gelato. Each morsel was delicious. It was a little loud but I chock that up to the holiday. I strongly recommend Estera!

Hands down the best dining experience on the island so far. The food was excellent. The server was top notch and met our every need without having to request anything from the drinks to the eating utensils. Overall, an excellent dining experience.

We had a great meal at Estera. The service was terrific, everything arrived on time without being rushed. We started with a wahoo crudo, which was excellent. My wife loved the curry and my wahoo main was great. We finished with the chefs take on cheesecake. Great meal, start to finish.

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home with Taylor taking wonderful care of us from start to finish. Everything was absolutely incredible! The Orzetto appetizer was made with fresh crab and was soo yummy. Then, for our main courses, we tried the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon and Lamb specials and all I can say is wow! Every bite was full of unique flavors and left us wanting more! We finished off strong with the Panna Cotta and Bunt Cake. Something sweet to finish the night, and yes, we considered licking the plates. My fiancée and I were celebrating our anniversary and I can’t recommend this place enough. Truthfully over dinner we discussed how we can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great wait staff and amazing food. Enjoyed an evening with friends and eating at Estera made it even better.

As always a it was awesome. Only issue is I did not like where we were seated not a fan of that corners As you can only feel the AC on one side of the table and it is hot. The service and food were amazing as always. It was my friend’s first time and she enjoyed. I cannot wait for my daughter’s visit to bring her to experience it.

I made a reservation for just myself on the recommendation of coworkers. They had an extensive bar with some very high end bottles that are not common on St. Croix. The crab orzotto was creamy and perfectly crabby without being overwhelming. The braised short rib was unbelievably tender and paired perfectly with broccolini and creamy grits. The cheesecake dessert was not the texture I am familiar with, and it was served warm, but I enjoyed every bite. My server was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me some recommendations for other places to check out while I’m on island. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Estera! We went for Sunday brunch and everything was magnificent! From the food, to the drinks, to the service, everything was top notch!
