Unfortunately we did not stay to have dinner. The restaurant was so loud we couldn’t stay. The noise level from the bar out did the music from the guitar player.

Great food and service - it is pretty noisy upstairs though our waitress made every attempt to seat us somewhere less noisy.

Amazing!! I planned a surprise birthday dinner, the staff was very kind and cooperative which made it all such a success. This restaurant has great vibes and good food.

TLDR: I wanted to love this place, but the drinks were okay, and the food, sub par which was unfortunate. I know reviews can make or break places and I hope that the longer version of my review is taken as truly constructive feedback and Estella keeps going and improving. Long version: The good: - Gorgeous spot. Great lighting, loved the vibe; Yucca fries appetizer is bomb; wings were also good; truffle Mac also good, just ease up on the truffle oil a little bit because then it trends toward bitter; Blueberry Yum Yum - very nice drink. - loved that there were little couple tables. -they did take the dish off the bill that was not good The very okay: - The newer drink “Yours Truly,” needs work. It reminded me of the little hug grape flavored barrel drink I used to get at the Bodega as a kid. And maybe some people would like that but I could not taste the alcohol and my drink came without the sugar rim; My partner got the shorty and mash. He really liked the gravy but the short rib was a bit dry. He said it was “very okay.” Not so good: - Black chairs with the gold detailing are pretty to look at. Deeply uncomfortable to sit in. When we sat down we fell into the chair and it placed our chests at the wrong part of the table (lower than expected). - ”Sticky Ribs Special.” vegetables were unseasoned and tasted like they were a microwaved vegetable medley from a frozen bag. The ribs tasted like they had been cooked fast and the fat hadn’t rendered properly and I got a chewy sticky mess that I couldn’t even really swallow because it was so gristly. The rib sauce was off as well. It was unbalanced and something tasted like it didn’t mix well with the other flavors. I couldn’t finish it. - I was surprised to find pasta on this menu. I would favor less items on the menu if it meant that the chefs could focus more on cooking a few things well. - server didn’t ask about allergies - please get a small freight elevator so wait staff don’t have to carry dishes upstairs

Tried Estella for the first time. Booked a 6:30 table before an 8:00 show. Got there a bit early so we sat at the bar, had a drink and decided to stay there for our meal. Our bartender was great. It was a Saturday night the place was busy. I was amazed at how well the team of four worked so well together in such a small space. Our meals were so good and we both enjoyed them very much. Overall the restaurant was much better than the show. So that was the high point of our evening. Will definitely consider again over our old standbys.

Innovative menu. Remarkable desserts. From the moment I entered to the end of our meal the interactions with staff were outstanding. The best hostess and wait staff experience I have had dining in Boston.

Loved our server. Menu is great. Food came out at different times, although everyone was rushing ahead of a show. Highly recommend if heading over to the theater after!
