D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : From 2024 James Beard semifinalist and acclaimed Suerte chef Fermín Núñez, this chill seafood spot is all about mariscos—think shrimp aguachiles, tuna tiradito, and oysters splashed with salsa negra. The light and airy space features white rafters and hanging plants, and happy hour spills out onto a big back deck. All of it landed Este on Bon Appétit and Esquire’s best new restaurant lists in 2023.

This specially curated menu highlights 5 savory courses, followed by dessert from Pastry Chef Derrick Flynn. Elevate your experience with custom beverage pairings featuring wine, mezcal, and signature cocktails, or explore Este’s extensive drink selection. There will be two seatings available: 5:30 pm | $100 per person *early bird special* 8 pm | $125 per person A $75 deposit is required to reserve your spot at each seating at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due at the end of your experience. Limited seating is available and subject to sell out. Provechito!

Our server Jonathan was amazing. My friend and I definitely over stayed our welcome during a Friday lunch catch up, and we never felt pressured to wrap things up. Been here about 6xs now and the food is always fresh and CONSISTENTLY AMAZING. Grateful for this place!!! I know I’m going to get a delicious meal with warm and on point service when I’m here.

It's really a fantastic array of seafood. I had a raw bar option with the tuna which was incredible. I also had one of the fish plates the PESCADO ZARANDEADO. I did the half order which was plenty of food. This place is definitely amazing as someone who doesn't really care that much for seafood.

Our server, Vanessa, was informative and very attentive to our needs. We had a fantastic time and the food was incredible. I think the only issue was that it was a bit noisy, but that made sense once we realized it was "Vino y Vinyl" night. Thank you for making my girlfriend's birthday dinner so amazing!

I'm a huge fan of Surte, so I was excited to go to Este and they did not disappoint at all. Already looking forward to dining there again. (Valet parking was very nice feature on a cold day)

The service was slow, waited initsilly aboyut 8 minutes after seating to get drink order. Then we ordered food and the items shareable. Within a few minutes the table was over croweded with food, even where the server was requesting us to make room for more food. One point of the server is to magae how food is brought to the table. So a crowded table of food where everyone was reaching across others plates to try and get food and eat.. And the background music was trance/dance music. So the entire time it felt like we were at a rave. Despite these things, The food was actually good. I would recommend that you have no more thn 3 people at a table if doing sharable dinner

Este is a great restaurant and all the food was great, but we ordered the Tuna Collar and were told it would take 30- 40 minutes. However it took over an hour and a half. There was no compensation, or hey sorry can we do anything

An absolute must! Food amazing, staff went above and beyond to offer recommendations and an unforgettable experience. Este was the highlight of our weekend trip to Austin! Ceviche, fish tacos, and tuna tiradito were fantastic.

We had a reservation for 7:45 and although we showed up early, we were seated when we arrived at 7:30. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable about menu items, and friendly. The food was delicious but we felt it was overpriced. We paid $17 for maybe three bites of the Este ceviche half order. We also ordered a full order of the pull apart shrimp (8 average sized shrimp for $42). The crispy tuna tacos were full of smoky tuna flavor and delicious. I’m not sure I would return as it seemed like more of a “place to be seen” versus there for the quality of the food. The restaurant attracted a 25-35 age crowd.

Fantastic food and drinks, server was awesome! Seafood was fresh and delicious. We had ceviche, tuna tataki, fish and tuna tacos, and then the amazing chile grilled prawns. $10 specialty margs rounded out a great meal.
