The tasting menu was amazing and very good value. Our server was also wonderful, I can't remember her name, unfortunately, but she was Irish with red hair. Absolutely lovely person. Made us feel very welcome for our anniversary. Can't recommend enough.

                                                                                        Went in for dinner on a Tuesday, not a lot of people inside. One of the best confit duck I've had in Toronto, with generous portion and very reasonable price tag to it. Would recommend.

                                                                                        We needed a last minute reservation in the East and I thought of Est where we had dined twice before. The food was delicious, each plate well spaced between the next to enjoy and share among the 8 of us. The flavours were there, the dishes were hot and fresh, and for the first time I tried the deserts and they were impressive. We ordered both the chocolate cake and the cheese cake which were perfect. During the night, we ordered the crispy cauliflower, the tuna tartare, the foie gras, the burrata, the Cesar salad and as main course we took the carbonara, the steak, the short ribs and the arctic char plus the brocollini which were a hit. All delicious. We will be back!

                                                                                        We went for the tasting menu and the food was good albiet a bit uncreative. I would have liked for the servers to explain a bit more (or at all) about the dishes that were being brought out as I was looking for more of a special dining experience for a special occasion. Overall a pretty middle-of-the-road experience that didn't feel worth the high price tag.

But between a mix of slow-service (1.5 hours before starters arrived, another 50 mins. before mains), awkward table (right beside the very busy and very load door to the washroom/kitchen) - and two very loud other parties … we left feeling ‘meh’.
