Great place to enjoy a meal out with family and friends. Wide choice of mouthwatering dishes. Opted for the tapas which were very generous in size. On the menu it recommended 3 or 4 - TOO MUCH! You only need 2 ir 3 at the most. Very welcoming staff. Situated in the centre of Harrogate, it's an ideal place to eat then explore. So glad we went.

Superb food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return for the Lamb Shank and my Wife had the fillet steak. Super!

Food quality average overall some dishes better than others, will not be rushing back. Disappointing given such good reviews on Tripadvisor.

Highly recommended tapas, great service and value. We shared 7 dishes between 2 people and believe me that was more than enough. Recommend the garlic prawns and chorizo, deep fried calamari and tempura chicken!

Delicious food, we had Tapas. Plenty of lovely veggie options, some vegan mains too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Upstairs venue, stairs lead up to the restaurant and bar with real plants and picture windows let lots of natural light in. I might have a new favourite Italian restaurant!

The restaurant was totally empty and that is the only reason for marking ambience down. Our server was amazing and the food was too. We would definitely go back but would try to go when it was a little busier to have a better atmosphere

We have been to Essenza on a number of occasions and each time the food has been excellent. Very reasonable price for the amount of food and drinks. The service is always very professional and friendly. I have a garlic intolerance and the food I order is always cooked fresh and always without a hint of garlic but tastes amazing.
