We’ve gone for dinner and brunch with family and both times everything ordered was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent both times and ambience is cozy-chic, relaxed-friendly. Our new favorite restaurant in Fairfield!

We had very good service and the food was also very good. However, what I did not like is that we had to order everything at once. Traditionally we like to start with appetizers and then order the main meal. We were not rushed which was good. The food was just way over priced. I would consider going back but at the prices they are charging I will not. Also, it was extremely noisy so it was hard to hear people in our party.

I am at a loss of words the restaurant was amazing food amazing and the service excellent too. Will definitely be going there more often.

Best food and ambience. Server Gary was so tentative and helpful with making the best choices on what to order. Management was very helpful and checked on us. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Highly recommend !!!

Been here a few times now, and Esh is truly excellent. Yes, it is Middle East / Mediterranean, but it is far from your typical plop of hummus and baba ganoush and a pita.

Excellent food. Great service. Only complaint was the noise. Wish the music didn’t blare the whole time. It was hard to have a conversation or hear anyone.

Staff is always great. Food is always fabulous! It’s pricey, but the quality of food and level of service make it worth the price.

Best restaurant in the area. The service is impeccable the food fantastic the ambience, beautiful. It’s a cross between Los Angeles and New York City without the BS!

This was our fourth visit to Esh, and unfortunately, it was disappointing on many levels. When I received a call to confirm the reservation, I requested a quiet table. I was assured we would get a round table for five guests. However, not only did we not get a round table, but we were also given a table meant for four. Additionally, our table was located next to the "bus" station and swinging kitchen doors, leading to constant noise and an unattractive view throughout our two-hour stay. To make matters worse, one of the wine glasses had lipstick stains on it—absolutely gross. We pointed it out to our waitress, and she quickly corrected the issue. Sitting next to the bus station, we noticed staff repeatedly discarding glass after glass, presumably due to similar stains. One of our five mezzes never arrived until we pointed it out to a server who seemed clueless. We eventually had to call over our waitress, who then identified the missing tzatziki. The grilled octopus, which we have enjoyed on two previous visits, was a major letdown this time. The texture was off and it didn't live up to our expectations. I have a suggestion: orders for five mezzes should come with two flatbreads. It's unreasonable for an order of five mezze to come with so little bread for five people to share. Lastly, our waitress asked if it was a special occasion, which it was (a 30th birthday celebration). After asking, it would seem they should follow up with an acknowledgement (complimentary dessert for example). Why ask otherwise? Overall, this visit did not meet the standards we had come to expect from Esh.
