Please be sure 5 people are ready to seat at your reservation time or you could lose your table! But the vibes are there! My friends and I had a great time last night!

Hosts and security need to be welcoming and not rude found two servers who helped make my birthday festivities a success they kept the drinks coming and brought customer experience

My son and I went to eat here before the MJ show at the Orpheum. It was on Sunday, which turned out to be “Sunday Funday” at the restaurant. The service was slow but our server was super nice. There was a DJ playing music and it was so loud it was deafening. You Could not have a conversation it was so loud. My apple watch was even warning me about the decibel level! But the food was amazing. Highly recommend the turkey ribs or catfish and grits. Great place if you’re ready to party with your friends but if you want to have dinner and conversation, better skip Sunday Funday.

The website description does not even remotely resemble the true nature of this restaurant. I thought this was going to be a quiet, upscale, tapas restaurant. The reality is that this place is a thumping club atmosphere with a very loud DJ and stantioned VIP areas with people twerking and grinding and smoking hookahs. All of those things are fine, but that is not how the restaurant positions itself at all. My friend and I went for an early dinner and had a reservation. After we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. We left after sitting there for 20 minutes. We were never reapproched by a server, never brought water, nothing. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend.

We found ESCO on Open Table and booked it for a Sunday brunch because it is close to the Memphis Orpheum Theater, where we were seeing a show at 1 pm. When we arrived, it was clear that ESCO is primarily a nightclub, and a gathering place for folks leaving the Grizzlies basketball games at nearby Fedex Forum. There is predominately "lounge seating" - modern black vinyl low sofas with gold accents arranged in seating groups - the kind you might sit at for "bottle service" in Vegas. Although empty dining tables were plentiful, we were seated all the way in the back next to the restroom doors and to the DJ... yes, there was a DJ for Sunday brunch! Our waiter came by promptly and was pleasant but his knowledge was lacking. For example, he wasn't sure if the restaurant served Coke or Pepsi. Soft drinks were served in low cocktail glasses, half-full. Our brunch food, served promptly, was edible but not remarkable, and the prices were ridiculous, including $18 for an omelet. The orange juice I ordered came out brown and was clearly spoiled. My wife's "ESCO breakfast" came with a biscuit,,, when she asked for some jam, we were told they were out of jam (at a place that advertises itself as a brunch restaurant!). Needless to say, NOT RECOMMENDED for brunch.

I would recommend this restaurant a thousand times I loved it so much I really enjoyed my birthday dinner. 10/10 must go again!!!!

This was more like a club than a restaurant on a Thursday. Food was okay. Nice environment. Wait staff was not very attentive.

Esco Memphis was amazing! The service was top notch! My guests and I were very impressed with the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to revisit ! Oh , the food was superb !! We are glad we chose Esco to celebrate our birthday and we will be there again!!!
