Join us center stage at The Bar. Take in the artwork throughout the venue by Canadian artist collaboration Caitlin Cronenberg & Heidi Conrod. Celebrate the best of today’s cocktails and discover the future trends of tomorrow.

Enter stage right to the Green Room. This cozy area, complete with fireplace & pool table. The décor pays homage to the entertainment district and Hollywood North. The ideal setting for lounging or small private group events.

Was really looking forward to this dinner and was immediately disappointed when we were sat at a table that was too low for the chairs they had with it. It was a lounge table that needed lower chairs, but they had regular height chairs - my back still hurts from hunching over. I will say that the soup was delicious (however $24 for a bowl of soup seems extreme), and the fish and chips were good - tasty, even though the batter wasn't crispy. My daughter had a beet salad that literally tasted like nothing - there was dressing on it, but zero flavour. All in all, not terribly happy with our experience. I think I'll give it another try during TIFF... at least then there might be the added bonus of a celebrity sighting to make up for any shortcomings with the meal!

We had an excellent time. The high tea was amazing. We enjoyed our tea selections and loved the scones with Devonshire cream.

Great place for cocktails, conversation, and elevated bar food. Cocktails were all good and as described in the menu. The lobster roll and thin fries were stand outs. Lots of lobster, roll toasted just right, and stuffed full. Fries were crispy and perfectly salted. Went well as a starter with the cocktails. Lots of varied seating and late hours.

A solid 7-7.5. Food: It was good but underwhelming. For example just make a really good, classic caesar dressing instead of adding a whole anchovy on top of the salad. I call this fluff. Make it really well then add the fluff. The bread was a bit dry and the lobster could have used some melted butter on the side. The portions for the side dishes of mains is a little off. I think that if protein is the star, there should at least be two side dishes even if the sides are on the smaller size. Fish and potatoes is just boring. Service: Our server was great. I think it's now pretty standard in downtown Toronto where the service outshines the food in a lot of places. Ambience: This was my second time at Epoch and it's feeling dated. Plus the 1.5 hour table reminder when we sat down was tacky. Insert eye roll emoji. Overall impression is that there are too many good restaurants in Toronto to choose from. Epoch does not really stand out. Basic for a resto connected to the Ritz.

Food was good. Seating was very low and we were sat right by the bar back. Seemed to have better seating around. Would have loved something a little nicer as it was our anniversary. Mentioned that on our booking but no associated service with that celebration.
