    I took 2 guests from out of town and they loved it as much as I do. The service and food are both great and I honestly don’t think anyone cooks salmon better than they do at Epice!

    Overall it was nice, but where we initially were sitting was very hot to the point of being quite uncomfortable. We reached a point that if we couldn’t finally move to another spot more comfortable, we would have left because it was just intolerable. When I first asked the host if we could move because we were so hot and there was no airflow in the spot we were sitting, he just brusquely stated it was all the same. I get that Epice wants to portray they’re a fancy high class place, but being curt to the point of dismissive is not the same thing as classy. Another server went to check the air conditioning when our appetizers arrived and I was fanning myself non-stop with their menu. After awhile, we were so uncomfortable that I walked around to see if anywhere was better. Let me tell you, the doorway by the bathroom was about to be where I was going to finish my meal as that’s the coolest place in the whole restaurant. The next coolest place I could find where there was som airflow AND open seating was the bar. We were allowed to move to the bar after they checked to make sure no one had a reservation (I guess) and at least we were not melting there and were able to enjoy our main course and dessert there. The food was quite good. The spinach puff pastry appetizer was the only one that was mediocre. The sumac seasoning used was not the true tart sumac and I think a better quality of the seasoning would have helped. The pistachio invited lamb medallions and the rice pudding were probably my favorite items. Just divine. The dolma was also quite good, and I say that as a person who grew up on Middle Eastern cuisine as my family is from there. The Grenache we had was very good. Our waitress was lovely. Overall, we really enjoyed Epice, but I will be more mindful of requesting certain seating if I go back in the summer, or I may just wait until the fall or winter before returning again.

    Epice is a true neighborhood gem. Food is always delicious and service is top notch. Wonderful experience every time we eat there. Highly recommend!

    One of the worst experiences in any restaurant! Had reservations at 7:30 , did not get seated until 8:10! Service was worst than in any fast food restaurant! Once food was literally dropped in front of you, your table was invisible to staff ! Very unorganized! Not a very friendly environment at all ! My third visit , and not impressive at all ! Our server acted like she did not want to be there!!! Entire experience was very unpleasant! Not once was asked if I wanted another drink!

    The grillled fish with rice and grilled vegetables, which comes with a side salad, as well, was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants with this level of food and decor. The soup was delicious, too. This restaurant has everything that more expensive "high end" places in Nashville have for better prices, entrees in the $20's instead of $30's. The ambience is lovely, sleek and modern, with a nice outdoor space.

    This is the most amazing place to eat! The flavors are so intense and compliment every dish. We have the salad with figs and then the rack of lamb. We could have licked the plate:-) We also had the Olive Oil cake which is a must!
