Undercooked rubbery steak with no taste at $185! Probably one of the worst steaks I have had.

Celebrated my birthday at Epic last evening and everything was lovely. Can’t beat the view and the food was amazing and haven’t experienced a 3 hours non rushed dining experience in a long time! Staff was awesome!

I ordered the A5 Wagyu. It was good. I also tried their tomato soup and it's the best tomato soup I've ever tasted! Loved the atmosphere along with the scenic views of the Bay Bridge.

Beautiful setting inside and out. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on a Wednesday about 7:30 (we were late), but they were very flexible and still accommodated my request for an inside table with a view. Card signed by staff was a sweet touch. After dinner they treated us to a free ice cream dessert, which we barely had room for but appreciated the gesture very much. Food was fantastic. We got the bread n butter appetizer. For dinner both ordered the filet and it was perfectly cooked to order (medium rare is a true medium rare). Julia’s potatoes were excellent. I also ordered the tomato soup and loved it! Drinks were a disappointment. The epic manhattan was just okay. Don’t laugh but I love a good grasshopper for dessert, but they didn’t have all the right ingredients. So then I asked for a chocolate martini which they also couldn’t make. Super weird. They brought me an espresso martini but I sent it back because I’m not much of a coffee drinker and it was much too strong for my palette. Service was on the slow side and felt a bit awkward. Overall I would recommend for a nice night out and would probably come back if ever in the area again.

We went here when we were visiting SF. We chose to sit out on the patio for the view and loved it. The inside looked very nice and had nice views as well. The staff was great not pushy very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were great. It was one of the nicest dinners we have ever had. Absolutely enjoyed it. We will be back for sure if we visit again

About a third of the steak was fat. The meat itself tasted good though. Service was inattentive but friendly. And the location couldn't be beat: al fresco dining by the bay on a warm summer's day.
