Nothing to write home about. After everything I heard I was excited to see this new restaurant for myself! As I entered I had to wait to be greeted and was told I couldn’t be seated until all my party arrived, which was strange as the restaurant wasn’t full and I had a reservation. Nonetheless I sat at the bar while I was only informed that my friend was sitting at our table and had been sitting there five minutes on her own. The ambience was office like and it was hard to hear the conversation at our table. Brunch menu was limited to not very interesting options and food was pretty bland.

When I arrived there were only 2 of the 6 there and we were the first ones in the restaurant. We were told that we would have to wait till everyone was there to be seated, ideally I would have liked to order coffee as the others arrived. I don’t understand why restaurants choose to do this as it is not affecting the wait times for an empty place. Secondly the coffee is only served in a French Press which is great if you’re a party of 2 but when everyone wants coffee you have to order multiple times at$12 per serving. Lastly I ordered the stuffed French toast which came out ice cold with equally cold syrup on the side. When I asked the waitress she said it’s supposed to be served cold! With all the social media post saying this place is great I wanted to try but in reality these social media posts are targeted adds by paid marketers or done by the restaurant themselves which I get in order to promote the place but they need to execute better I doubt their intention is to serve cold food but if I am wrong, mention that the item is served that way in the description. One last thing all the meals came out staggered with the last dish being served 5 min after the first. I feel that it is rude to start eating until everyone has been served so I am sure that contributed to my cold meal. One positive comment I have it that the presentation of the dish was very well done. I do not recommend this place

The food and service were great, it was too loud for us. The tables are too close together I felt like I could not have a good conversation.

To begin, I had to make a reservation approximately one month in advance, which heightened my expectations as I approached today's visit. The initial impression of the restaurant was favorable. The ambiance was characterized by a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Upon being seated, our waitress, Katie, approached to take our order. My wife and I had specific dietary restrictions, and Katie had exceptional patience and attentiveness. She communicated our requests to the chef. While the portions were modest, they provided a satisfying level of fullness. However, the quality of the food was mediocre at best, with the NY strip steak being notably marinated in garlic, which was not disclosed on the menu. This could be particularly disappointing for people who don't like garlic. Overall, I would rate the restaurant at a 3 out of 5.

We had a reservation for 8:30pm, but we were not seated until a little after 9pm. When I asked to speak with the manager he apologized and asked if our group was at the bar which I said yes we were. He told me he would comp our drinks and to return to the bar. About 10 minutes later we were seated and I told the wait staff that the manager said he would comp our drinks. She said ok and took our order. During the course of the meal we were bought over complimentary champagne. We ordered an appetizer, two main entrees and one side. We did not receive one of the entrees with our meal and had to ask for it. When the bill came our drinks were not comp-ed. The wait staff called over the manager and he said he did not say he would comp our drinks and that he provided complimentary champagne. I said that was not what he had told me when he said to return to the bar. He asked what I wanted him to do which I said to comp the drinks as he had said. He grab the bill and said he would comp the drinks but charge for the complimentary champagne. We paid for the champagne even though we did not order it. The manager should not be offering to comp drinks and then change his mind and provide drinks we did not ask for. Very disappointing experience, doubt we will return.

Restaurant is really trendy and nice looking. Service was good for the most part. Took awhile for someone to come and greet us but when they finally did someone else also greeted us a few mins later unaware someone had just been to our table. I think some things were out of our server’s control. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered drinks a few minutes after sitting down and but they did not arrive for almost 30 minutes, after half our food had arrived. We had ordered food about 15 minutes after we ordered drinks so found that quite disappointing. Food was okay, prawn appetizer was absolutely awful, chewy and cold, and all food was not something I’d consider good considering the prices. For the prices I expect food to be executed well. I happily spend money on a good/great meal and experience but this was not it. To recap, aesthetically restaurant is pretty and cocktails we ordered were good but we only had one each given the first round was brought to us half way through meal. We chose to have wine with main course instead. Hopefully things here improve with time.

Coffee and staff were excellent. My eggs benny was tasty but the temperature was not as warm as I would have liked. Ambiance was great!

Awesome experience. Very playful take on food and drinks would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new in the San Jose Area.

Our server was outstanding. But when it came time for the shrimp appetizer. It tasted like it was burnt on a campfire. Didn’t have the barbecue taste. Then out came the flatbread, which was pretty tasty. I ordered a pork chop for the main course, which was really really small, but it also was pretty tasty. The had the brussels sprouts that were very tasty. The strange thing was the service was good, but almost too good. They kept trying to clear the table When we weren’t finished eating. Even came by and took my fork before I was finished with brussels sprouts … kind of strange. After dinner was over I asked for toothpicks which she said they didn’t have which OK they’ve only been open for two months so maybe they will get toothpicks soon. Then the bill came which was $260 for two people and a couple of drinks. I questioned the waiter about the bill because they advertise the flatbread for $20 but when the bill came, they charge me $40. $40 for this flatbread was way too expensive. She told me that Manager would come and talk to me, but I didn’t wanna bother arguing over $20 but at least I’ll post this and maybe somebody else may think twice about the flatbread. All in all, I don’t feel like this place what’s worth a $300 dinner including the tip. Will I go back? Not for $300. And by the way, they don’t even validate your parking.!
