Enoteca Boccaccio is an award winning restaurant from the legendary D'Anna family. Situated above Boccaccio Continental Supermarket, it is a destination for some of Melbournes best cheese, salumi, and an Italian/European menu from hatted head chef Andrew Beddoes.

The wine list is a dynamic and ever evolving selection of our favourite wines from local and international producers. It is curated by our team to best reflect the vintages and compliment the menu offering. We offer BYO Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night dinner service and Friday/Saturday lunch service with $20 corkage per bottle.

It is with great pleasure that we announce a special dinner to showcase the new 2023 1er Releases from Hoddles Creek Estate. Franco D’Anna and the team have a deserved reputation for turning out wines of outstanding quality and value under their Wickhams Road and Estate labels. At the same time, their single-block releases vie with the finest of the Yarra Valley. I'm a coeliac & ordered gluten free rigatoni all'amatriciana. The pasta was undercooked. I mentioned it to a staff member & the chef was kind enough to prepare a new dish. I honestly believe it wasn't the chef's fault but the fault of the pasta producer & cooking instructions on the pack. I have found that gluten free pasta is always undercooked if I follow the producers instruction. I use Rummo glutenfree pasta. As an example, Rummo recommends 11 minutes to cook spaghetti but in reality it takes closer to 15/16 minutes for the pasta to cook properly, 13/14 minutes for it cook al dente. Perhaps in future the chef might wish to taste the pasta to ensure it's well cooked before serving it. Not a criticism, just a suggestion/recommendation. Overall, it was a very good experience & I recommend Entoteca Boccaccio. I'll most definitely return.

The food design, flavour, and presentation were superb- think Brae (Birregurra), or Manhatta (NYC). Everything was beautifully chosen for crockery, cutlery & sparkling glassware on clever oval tables. Daniel, the sommelier was exquisitely helpful in answering questions about all sorts of things we wondered about decor and wine, as it was our first visit. I was lucky enough to watch the chef add the finishing touches to plates before they were despatched, as well as the entree kitchen team meticuously present their plates. Lots of busy people, with trays of fresh pasta delivered from downstairs, through the restaurant. Our first waitress,Clare, suggested we share plates to taste more things, and it was a great idea, and the staff seemed very happy to provide two plates each time. As the table was small, their swift removal as we finished plates was welcome, and there were plenty of staff to make sure this happened smoothly. Wine prices on the high end, but a magical experience near home-wow!

Another excellent meal at Enoteca Bocaccio. The menu is interesting with many great choices. Can graze on shared small plates, or select salumi. Pasta is beautifully made and simple. Mians are great. Cant go past Tiramisu for dessert. The wine list is extensive with a heavy influence on Italian reds. Elena, sommelier, provides insight and assists in selecting the perfect bottle or two. Service overall is warm and precise. There is a reason this place is so popular! Worth booking in advance for a special night out

Waiting staff are not professional, quite rude. I never saw a waiting staff refilling water with a hand on waist, feel like she is impatient. Instead of asking about the taste of the dishes, waiting staff just went straight to clear the entrée plates. Poor oyster shucking skill and staff should be embarrassed to send that poor oyster to the customer. If i was the staff, i would served another one instead. TASTE ARE okay, a bit heavy for Asian maybe.
