Enigma is an intimate modern European style fine-dining restaurant located in the heart of Toronto’s historic Yorkville neighbourhood, nestled on picturesque St. Thomas Street and surrounded by mid-century and modern architecture. We celebrate the best of local and international ingredients, treating them with respect and elevating integrity above all else, by serving a seasonal evolving evening tasting menu.

    I would like to thank the Chef for making my wife’s birthday experience so special. The team accommodated my two children and the entire night was fantastic. Looking forward to coming again.

    One of the best meals I have ever had. Chef Quintin is a genius. He beverage manager David is an expert at what he does. Great pairings! The non alcoholic drinks were to creative. We went for my daughter’s graduation and had a wonderful time. You absolutely will not be disappointed! Sarah the pastry chef is absolutely brilliant! The amazing chefs that support Quintin are astounding at their craft!!

    Some great taste sensations but a few disappointments. The Yellowtail Tuna was mediocre; I'm sure better grade tuna is available. The Barolo seemed dried out; David quickly replaced it with a Beaucastel which was excellent. My decaf espresso was bitter. Overall, a nice evening.

    Amazing experience all around! We did the 10 course menu with premium wine tasting and it was one of the best meals we have had!

    This is an exceptional dining experience that is not inexpensive but worth it. For those who are into food and drink, this is an education and a treat. For those who are frugal and not into food, this is not the place for you. The service is excellent. Worth noting, the Sommelier, who is surprisingly young, is a wealth of education on all the pairings and so passionate about his profession, which is refreshing. This was one of the best meals we have had in our lifetime.

    Phenomenal! Exquisite premium wine and cocktail pairings with mind blowing, inventive food. Better than our meals at the top restaurants in Paris, London, Aspen, NYC, and Montreal. Service is exceptional.

    Absolutely delicious from being to end. Exceptional wine pairings from stellar Ontario wineries. Professional yet friendly waitstaff and wonderful sommelier David. Would definitely recommend for a special evening. Will be back again.

    I had the unique opportunity to spend my birthday at the Chef's Table. This incredible experience began with a warm greeting, pine scented hot towels, and an unforgettable kombucha. From there the evening was marked by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who effortlessly presented an array of fantastic creations crafted for our preferences and with careful preparation in regards to our allergies. The chef and his entire front and back of house staff provided an evening of magic for the two in my party. The cocktail and non-alcoholic drink pairings were mind blowing; thoughtful, delicious, and perfect for each dish. The food, extraordinary. More than either of us had imagined, and so many firsts for each of us. Each dish was a work of art with flavors unlike anything either of us have had the opportunity to experience before. The service we experienced left us feeling like royalty. In short, nothing could have been done better. This was an evening I will remember forever.

    Absolutely delicious! The fish was unique. The cheese roll was superb. The wine pairing was also excellent. And the staff was very very nice. The place is relatively small and quite cosy.
