The Engleside Inn, located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, not only provides its guests with excellent lodging, but it also contains the Leeward Room for fine dining. This on-site restaurant has made a name for itself over the years as one of the finest in the Long Beach islands area. There is also a bar in this restaurant within the Engleside Inn where guests can select from an excellent list of wines and liquors. Premium steaks are a big part of the draw at the Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn. You can find many other examples of fine American cuisine on the menu, such as the scallops encrusted with wasabi or the chicken breast glazed in ginger.

Prime rib, captain cut is always delicious, waitress was excellent, pasta penne vodka also delicious. Both dished had to be brought home because they were very generous portions.

Always a great meal at the Engleside. So happy to have a good restaurant that’s open during the off season. Our guests from Santa Fe and LA were thrilled with their seafood. Happy holidays!

Bucket list destination on LBI and did not disappoint. Went for a few cocktails prior to dinner and bartender suggested the prime rib. Delish…

Everyone thinks that LBI is deserted come after Labor Day and going into the Winter season. Today I took in a matinee at the Surflight Theater and seeking a dinner venue afterward, landed here. Surprisingly, the whole dining room was filled but the competent staff handled the crowd easily. The food was fresh and very tasty. Though we stuck to the seafood, the restaurant offers a full menu with something for everyone. Obviously, the quality of the meal attracted everyone around.

The server knew we were going to the show and made sure our meals were served promptly The portion are generous, fair pricing, nice ambiance And everything was hot and delicious .

Willa was wonderful and very friendly….. your Christmas decorations and the fireplace were warm and cozy as always! My Mom’s (and my) favorite fine dining on LBI!!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday pre-theatre dinner at the Engleside Inn. Although the background music was muffled, the dining room was festive and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were seated near the fireplace and the Christmas tree. Service was outstanding and the food was excellent overall. Coating on the fried calamari appetizer was too crunchy for my taste, whereas the garden salad with crispy croutons was perfect. Bread basket containing delicious rolls and muffins was served warm with butter. As for entrees, the seared pistachio crusted tuna and sushi sashimi entrees were outstanding. Swordfish entree on the Specials menu was very good. Homemade whipped cream complimented the lava cake and key lime pie desserts. Heavenly!
