The Engleside Inn, located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, not only provides its guests with excellent lodging, but it also contains the Leeward Room for fine dining. This on-site restaurant has made a name for itself over the years as one of the finest in the Long Beach islands area. There is also a bar in this restaurant within the Engleside Inn where guests can select from an excellent list of wines and liquors. Premium steaks are a big part of the draw at the Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn. You can find many other examples of fine American cuisine on the menu, such as the scallops encrusted with wasabi or the chicken breast glazed in ginger.

This visit we were seated in the bar area for the first time. The food and service was very good. However the noise level was excessive to the point dinner conversation was nearly impossible.

Everything is good there never had a bad meal there . Service is always good. We always make a reservation.

This was our second time at the Engleside this year. In a word, it was great! Excellent and friendly service from Summer; the food was really good and the timing of the service was perfect. We will be back!

My wife and I have dined at the Engleside Inn several times. The food has always been good, the portions generous and overall good value for the money.

Our server, Steff was very good. 2 of us found the food mediocre. Blackened scallops had no taste, lobster bisque did not taste like lobster bisque. The penne in vodka sauce with grilled shrimp was salty and the shrimp looked nice but had no flavor. We asked the server to split the bill with 2 credit cards and she came back saying they were not allowed to do that. Never in all my dining experiences has any establishment told me that could not split the tab. Will not be returning to this establishment

It’s always a great experience at The Engleside Inn. Family owned and operated, family friendly, and the food is delicious! Great service, too! Have Riker handle your table and you will have a wonderful time. Stuffed flounder and the panko sea scallops are both highly recommended!
