The Engleside Inn, located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, not only provides its guests with excellent lodging, but it also contains the Leeward Room for fine dining. This on-site restaurant has made a name for itself over the years as one of the finest in the Long Beach islands area. There is also a bar in this restaurant within the Engleside Inn where guests can select from an excellent list of wines and liquors. Premium steaks are a big part of the draw at the Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn. You can find many other examples of fine American cuisine on the menu, such as the scallops encrusted with wasabi or the chicken breast glazed in ginger.

We were able to grab a last minute res. The food was delicious! My family loved the Wasabi-crusted Scallop appetizer, Caesar Salad, Lobster Bisque, Miso Halibut, and Chicken Parmigiana (which was too big for our teenage boys to finish- can def split it.) Great service on 4th of July!

The service was very good. My Chilean Sea Bass was very good but the portion was so small. Not looking for huge portions but this was really small for the price. Prime Rib was just ok. Little chewy. Chicken dish was good. Stuffed Flounder, had to send back. Dry, no crab in stuffing. Was there last year same time. Really declined. Drinks were good!! Though 5 drinks for 100 bucks, crazy times!!!

The staff was friendly. The sushi was good-very good portion of ginger and wasabi. Lively atmosphere. Yummy cocktails. Scallops were good but I didn’t love the sauce. Great selection of food. Not super expensive. Will def return!

Waitress gave very pour service and it wasn’t even that busy! Was there during the Christmas season service was very poor then but I figured it was just the off season, guess not!

Wonderful dinner, extensive menu. All of us were really happy with our dinners, especially the Prime Rib.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal from start to finish. The oysters were amazing! Our server, Riker, was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended all around!

Food was great as usual. Service was completely off. Drinks were all served at different times. People who can after us were served first. Water wasn’t refilled. Food all came at different times. We were seated right away at our 7:30 appointment but didn’t get out until almost 10 and had no dessert

My family and I had a very terrible experience while dining at this establishment. It was extremely loud and service was horrible. It took the waitress forever to greet us, we wouldn’t see her for large chunks of time, and she was extremely inattentive. She was a very kind woman. But when she spilled my mom‘s salad dressing, it took forever for her to bring her a new one. It was a very long ordeal and unenjoyable experience for the seven of us. We will not be dining at this restaurant again. Two hours of non-enjoyment.
