The Engleside Inn, located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, not only provides its guests with excellent lodging, but it also contains the Leeward Room for fine dining. This on-site restaurant has made a name for itself over the years as one of the finest in the Long Beach islands area. There is also a bar in this restaurant within the Engleside Inn where guests can select from an excellent list of wines and liquors. Premium steaks are a big part of the draw at the Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn. You can find many other examples of fine American cuisine on the menu, such as the scallops encrusted with wasabi or the chicken breast glazed in ginger.

The sushi was great there! The staff is horrible inside the restaurant and the hostesses. We walked in they didn’t look at us for about mins and when they did they were just cold and our waitress was the same! I ordered a tequila mule instead of a Moscow mule which is just tequila instead of vodka. They charged me without even telling me an extra five dollars because of that request. If I had gotten, it was 1150 they charged me five dollars because the tequila I didn’t even ask for an expensive one I didn’t care just a tequila at something they should’ve said that they were gonna charge an extra making that one drink $16.50 which let me tell you was not worth that amount of money and if I had known that, I would’ve never ordered it!

The Engleside is one of our must go to during the summer season. The Prime Rib is always presented as ordered and is delicious. We reserved and were seated at a high top table in the bar area where the activity and noise level is higher than in the dining room. I would highly recommend.

Our server Dan was great. The back room was perfect; very quiet so we could hear each other. The food was absolutely delicious; every single thing we ordered as well as the drinks!

We haven't been to the Engleside for a few years. We came hoping that the quality of food would be as terrific as usual and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and our server Jesse was friendly and attentive.
