The crew from Northside Bistro are now going to provide some amazing Italian cuisine, Top notch Steaks, and delightful seafood. Expect to see some of the great cooks and friendly staff you expect at Northside along with some great new team members we are excited to introduce to the area.
Chef John and his team are excited to bring you some takes on classic Italian cuisine along with some expected twists and turns to keep things current and we will always hunt for the highest quality ingredients we can find. Service promises to be warm and inviting never taking our focus off the details that matter while still keeping it fun and light hearted.
The decor here at Encore is a polished but comfy, the environment will create great energy and a sense of community but still provide some romantic corners for a Romantic evening with loved ones.
Carol and John are so excited to bring their second offering to the North Raleigh area!

Excellent atmosphere, food is absolutely delish and well presented. Our waiter Peyton was outstanding!!! Excellent from start to finish. Personal touch with owner/chef John interacting in the dining room !! Cannot wait to go back!

We went to Encore Ristorante to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere was elegant but not stuffy. Our waiter was very attentive without rushing us. All of the food from the appetizers to the main course of sea bass with risotto and filet mignon with gnocchi was exceptional. The prices were comparable to restaurants of the same scale. We will definitely will visit again.

Skip the over breaded and over seasoned calamari. There is potential, but the food seemed heavily seasoned and few lighter choices.

Bread wasn’t warm and they didn’t give enough dipping oil. The wine we wanted was out of stock. Entrees were just ok. Oyster appetizer was really good. Desserts were limited.

For recently opening, I was so impressed! The level of service and food was superior to most anything I have experienced in Wake Forest. Top 3 restaurants in WF and only their first month!

Fantastic dining experience!! A very comfortable restaurant with excellent food quality along with very professional and attentive service! The food and wine menus have well considered options that are sure to please even the most discriminating palates! This location is a wonderful complement to their other location, Northside Bistro which has a well established reputation as being one of the best dining experiences in north Raleigh!!

We will try this new place again, perhaps once they work some kinks out. From being held up being seated by a misread reservation, to slow service by a server who was also training a newer employee, a delay in wine arriving to the table- and the server explaining that there is a law about having a cocktail and then wine and alcohol content maximums- (news to us experienced 70+ yo diners!) when the nice server became less friendly. Hmmm. It was pretty noisy there- but that may require some baffles on exposed ceiling areas. Our food was good- my gnocchi was large and very dense, but the gravy and steak in the dish were delicious!
