We’re happy to be bringing our steakhouse to your doorstep with your local dry-aged Hereford beef, and our Seafood bisque at our new family-run restaurant in Old Market Herford at EN Steak, we take great pride in sourcing only the highest quality meat from award-winning farms right here in Herefordshire. Steak was okay but nothing special. The sauces and the rest of the food was below average, complete standard and uninspiring. The service was casual at best. The price was much too high. An altogether disappointing experience of a new restaurant about which we had heard good things. Not one that we will be repeating.

Food was good but I never knew steak could be so expensive. I mean who has all this money in Hereford!? Lots of staff wandering around not really doing anything. Our waitress Janet was very good tbf. Burgers were very good but unless I win the lottery - we won't be returning!

The food was fantastic, best steak we have had but the general cleanliness let the experience down. Our table had not been wiped down and there was a lot of food on the floor. I assume a family had sat at our table before as there was lots of crunching crisp type snacks on the floor. The restaurant was not particularly busy and there were plenty of staff that could have quickly swept the floor between servings. The staff were otherwise good and attentive, the old Wildwoods decor lets the ambience down for what is priced to be a fine dining steak experience.

Unfortunately we waited for other 45mins to an hour wait for food. When the food arrived unfortunately it was overcooked supposed to be medium came medium well so overcooked. Considering paying £100 I think it was over priced for what was there. We didn’t complain about the food there as we waited so long for it to arrive we didn’t want to have wait any longer.

This was our first visit to En Steak in Hereford. It had a great atmosphere as was extremely busy and pretty noisy but the staff were excellent, very polite and efficient. The food was delicious! There is also a bar/cocktail lounge upstairs.

We had a table booked for 7.30pm on a busy Sunday evening. We arrived just before and were seated very quickly. There was no rush with ordering but once we did the service was very quick. We had finished by 8.10pm and the service was excellent. Overall a wonderful evening, we will definitely be returning.
