I am a huge steak fan from UK. Perfectly cooked. The Alabanian manager and his amazing waiter from Montenegro provided the best customer service my partner and I had experienced in our 5 days in NYC. Fabulous surrounding. Authentic experience. The only time in my life when paying a tip was an absolute pleasure!!!! Thank you

I enjoyed dinner with my 16 year old daughter, the Cesar salad, the house fries and the filet mignon were delicious. The ambiance was great and the service as well as the manager were amazing.

Wonderful experience given attentive, friendly, and genuine service first attitude of all staff. Steaks were awesome and perfectly cooked. Oysters fresh and crab cake starter excellent. Only disappointment was the sides. Bread was good, but foil wrapped butter pads were a surprise. Baked potatoes were clearly microwaved, either in whole or to finish and bowl of melted butter for potatoes left my half in a puddle. Mushrooms were cooked well, but lacked any seasoning. Pleasant surprise was an on the house cheesecake (delicious) and a robust happy birthday serenade for my spouse — forgot I listed birthday as special occasion in the reservation! Also, be aware. Beer and wine only. Don’t think I have ever been in a steakhouse without cocktails!

Menu items seem very overpriced for the portion. Everything came hot and service was very attentive. No bar license so they only have beer and wine. We wished we had known this before making our reservation as we wanted to have cocktails before making it to our show. Location was great for that, however. We were able to navigate to our show pretty easily.

Excellent new steak place in midtown with very nice ambiance and attentive service. Our petite filets were perfectly cooked with delicious sides of salads and roasted veggies. Very relaxing romantic space - a definite keeper!

We had a phenomenal experience! The staff all greeted us warmly when we arrived and our waiter Petar was the perfect combination of knowledgeable and personable, without being intrusive. The Cesar salad was NYC perfection! The sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables was outstanding, and the shrimp scampi came with 4 huge prawns that were perfectly prepared. Honestly, such a good meal followed by superb cheesecake and tiramisu. We highly recommend Empire for a preshow dinner or anytime you want fantastic food.
