   The ambiance and Gossip Girl drink were amazing! We had a beautiful view of the city. The only thing that was lackluster was the overall service and my steak. $36 for fajita steak. It was served cut into strips. It wasn’t your traditional serving of steak. I found it weird it came with fries and a side of guac? Considering it’s such a nice hotel/ restaurant. I asked for medium well and it was well done. There was no pink in the middle. We had to consistently flag down an employee to refill our waters. The Filipino girl in a black dress never came by to ask how our food was. Or anything really. We had better service from a pizza joint in Chelsea. I was slightly disappointed given I came here for the Gossip Girl experience. The only attentive employee was the Hispanic/ Latino man wearing a black face mask Sunday night. Full credit to him. And the nice girl with curly light brown hair who helped us with the elevator lol. We also want to compliment the gentleman, Kimjin, the lobby assistant, for his professionalism and assistance.

   Food options are small bites and perfect for a before show experience or to meet up with friends before a night on the town. Drinks are creative and tasty. The view is amazing. High top chairs and tables are uncomfortable. Unable to fit legs under high top table due to design and not much back support on chairs even though they have a back.

   We flew down from Vermont for a performance of Cabaret. The combination of staying at the Empire Hotel, and the dining experience at the open table was perfect.

   Even on a rainy day, the comfort level is great in this bar/lounge with an attractive view of the Lincoln Center area. The food offerings are great for sharing (especially the charred peppers and the HUGE chicken wings. The service is friendly and attentive

    Very poor. Got there, the elevator that goes straight to the restaurant was broken. The furniture is ripped off and the room smells. A construction was happening and the drilling was extremely loud. I left before ordering, but I assume the food is okay? The waitress was very cordial and apologized for the bad experience.
