The Empire Rooftop is located on the top floor of the iconic Empire Hotel and overlooks the Lincoln Center complex. With over 8000 square feet of interior and exterior space, The Empire Rooftop has a seasonal open-air East Terrace, a West Terrace with a retractable roof cover, an Interior Main Lounge, and a seasonal Sun Deck. Enjoy our Signature Empire Sunset Cocktail, a light bite from our appetizer menu, and take a photo in front of the iconic neon sign to complete your experience.

Guests of all ages (accompanied by a Parent) are welcome on the roof until 8PM, when those under 21 must vacate.

It was a nice intimate place to go to ,and the food was good and tasty .The drinks was excellent.

Excellent kitchen for bar fare. Excellent. Ahi tuna tostadas, sliders, calamari, all superior to many restaurants offering table service dinner fare. Service staff has been impeccable under stable leadership since...2016? Some recent staff turnover (not unusual) indicates good management practices continue as new staff are well trained, knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. Ambiance is unmatched with a western terrace overlooking Lincoln Center Plaza, an eastern terrace in the shadows of the iconic Hotel Empire neon signs, and a main room with a generous bar offering picture window views of uptown via the classically divergent avenues of Broadway and Columbus. Next visit, we will try the cabanas upstairs near the pool deck.

First time here. It was amazing. Fabulous view. Great table right by the window. Just happened to be in time for happy hour. Delicious food. Blown away. Spectacular plating. Great staff. Just can’t say enough nice things about the rooftop. Looking forward to coming back.

We chose, as we often do, Rooftop at Empire for a pre-ballet meal with friends visiting from London. As expected, they were as pleased with the views, the relaxed atmosphere and the quality of the food offerings, perfect for sharing. The service was friendly and attentive and the prices very good value for the Lincoln Center area

Great experience! Staff were accommodating, the view was fantastic, and the vibes were perfect. Not too loud of an environment so you could actually hold a conversation while having dinner and drinks.

We visited on a Friday night. Great place to catch some amazing views of the sunset. Great food and drinks. It’s pricey but worth it if visiting from out of town.

Booked a table and asked for a view but they sat us in a corner. Drinks overpriced and service slow. Nice view but very expensive for what you get
