The Empire Rooftop is located on the top floor of the iconic Empire Hotel and overlooks the Lincoln Center complex. With over 8000 square feet of interior and exterior space, The Empire Rooftop has a seasonal open-air East Terrace, a West Terrace with a retractable roof cover, an Interior Main Lounge, and a seasonal Sun Deck. Enjoy our Signature Empire Sunset Cocktail, a light bite from our appetizer menu, and take a photo in front of the iconic neon sign to complete your experience.

Guests of all ages (accompanied by a Parent) are welcome on the roof until 8PM, when those under 21 must vacate.

Our first visit to this venue and it was lovely! The atmosphere and decor is amazing and the food and non-alcoholic drinks were excellent! Definitely returning when in NYC again!

this was quite overpriced forf the food quality and overall service - charged $7 for a seltzer. Really really excessive. The food did come out fast but it wasn't seemingly as fresh as it might be?

Drinks were OK, place was incredibly loud, service was extremely slow and not super friendly. Tried to get a server for 25 mins to request the check. Had to go myself to the bar in the end to pay there since no one was coming for almost half an hour. Waitress got super snobbish after I tipped 18% for this terrible service.

Nice to be on the rooftop on a beautiful day. Seating was not comfortable for brunch since there were no actual tables for 4 or 5 people to eat on...more of a beach type atmosphere with low seating and tiny tables made more for drinks than a brunch meal. Service was okay...not memorable except for what was forgotten! Portion sizes were smaller than normal for a typical brunch. We left feeling hungry. Dessert was not suggested; we needed to ask for it. Coffee cups were smaller than normal and filled about half full. I wouldn't go back but enjoyed going to this iconic place sung about by Joni Mitchell at least once!

Beautiful space. Drinks were outstanding, staff was kind, and service was fast. Great place to relax and meet up with friends. I highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit!

Overestimated. Food, drink, space and services was bad. It's incredible, but nothing was good. Absolutely everything was very bad. I do not recommend.

Ce n'est pas du tout le niveau de service que nous visons. Concernant le cocktail Gossip Girl, nous regrettons également que le symbole XOXO n’ait pas été inclus comme promis. I booked the table on the terrace well in advance, once there they told me they didn't have any. The staff was not very polite. Never again
