Food is always delicious…service needs some work. Appetizer and entree brought out at the same time…had to ask for the check.

It is a nice place, casual and friendly. We really liked the wait staff, perhaps the best part of the experience. They were friendly and attentive. We have eaten there three times, and I think everyone is entitled to a second chance. The first time I had a burger and thought it was amazing. The second time I had the pizza and thought it was alright, but just alright. This time the burger was just alright, and no one in our group enjoyed the pizza, which arrived significantly after the burgers. The staff was great the food was fair.

We were so surprised by how much we liked Emmy Squared Westport. The food exceeded our expectations. We had and excellent brussel sprout salad and split a large Detroit style pizza which as perfect and more than ample for two. The restaurant is in the refurbished YMCA; the building is beautiful with old brick walls, interesting finishes and very tall iron windows that can be opened for a cafe feel. Emmy Sq. clearly clues in their staff on the lost art of properly waiting a table (it seems most Westport restaurants dont). We were completely taken care of without ever being interrupted or rushed and left after about an hour and a half. The waiters were cheerful and welcoming. Worth mentioning too is that the noise level in the room is comfortable with pleasant music played on low volume. The cocktails were great, we tried a $5 drink special. Overall a very enjoyable friday evening out and we will return. I dont write many reviews but since i am frustrated by local restaurants I had to compliment one that is getting so much right.

Everything was delicious. Italian chopped Salad was delicious. The pizza with the vodka sauce was so good. Wait staff were very friendly and nice!
