Emme is an authentic Roman Restaurant, The location is absolutely magic and the outdoor garden an icon of what the courtyards of Via Margutta are. Our dishes feature seasonal local ingredients with creative pairings. Emme is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine after a long flight or a day of shopping and sightseeing in Rome. Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, fresh home made pasta filled. A menù full of delicious meat and fish, fresh vegetables. All our deserts are home made, among which our special traditional tiramisù.

The Amber Jack and Branzino was cooked to perfection. Very good Pino Grigio as well. Outdoor ambiance was nice.

This was one of the best restaurants we ate in Rome. The service was outstanding. We ate outdoors in a beautiful tropical garden, which added to the experience. The food was outstanding. Definetly will be back on our next visit to the area.

Restaurant was great. The food was very good. We enjoyed steak and pasta dishes and they were prepared well. The bread selection at the beginning of the meal was very good. Service was excellent. They did a great job of checking and making themselves available for anything we needed, without being intrusive. We sat outside, which would normally have been great. However, it was a record heatwave and there is little ventilation in the courtyard. Not at all the restaurant’s fault since the courtyard would normally be an excellent place to eat, but mentioning it so you know to avoid if it’s hot that day or you’re sensitive to heat.

Wonderful experience, service and food. The only thing that I would improve upon is that I think the hotel could find a friendlier, more helpful front desk person( customer service) to help with those not staying at the hotel, yet wanting to go to EMME. The hotel front desk attendant was dismissive, not helpful, also scoffed at us when we asked about a taxi.

We made a reservation for 7 people. We were exceptionally pleased from start to finish. While we enjoy many of the quintessential Roman cafes and their charm, EMME was a welcome change with ample space between tables and was beautifully decorated. Service was fantastic and we had a choice of dining inside or on the patio. Due to the July heat, we opted to enjoy the air conditioning inside. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. One of our party raved about the steak tartare starter. Several of us started with pasta stiffed with pork and beef. Also wonderful. For main courses, four of us had the Danish Filet which was perfectly prepared and outstanding. The only disappointing dish was the lasagne which was a very small portion and lacking in flavor relative to lasagne we have had at other places. The desserts were amazing and I think we tried each on the menu. The coffee flavored mousse was extremely light and beautifully presented- a perfect ending. All of the desserts were very good. We highly recommend EMME and will keep it on our list for our next trip to Rome. Excellent value for the money.
