Emilia’s SKD is a fresh pasta restaurant located in the heart of St Katharine Docks with a beautiful al fresco dining terrace overlooking the marina, just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge.

At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in our restaurant in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen. In true respect of Italian tradition, we use certified Italian produce and try our best to ensure no additives, artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything unnatural is in our food. We believe that food is much better when it’s 100% natural.

Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s bar/counter seating (overlooking the open kitchen), window seating (overlooking our terrace and the marina), normal tables and an outdoor terrace (overlooking the marina).

I have been to Emilia’s crafted pasta for years now but this time, the pasta quality was not as good. I often take the mushrooms and walnut and it is normally my favorite but this time, the sauce was very white, not walnut-y enough. My partner’s plate was just alright too. It is a shame!

This was our third time visiting and it was just as good as we remembered! Our first visit was the year they opened and we were so impressed we ate there several times during our visit. Even thought it’s been years since last we’ve been, we were so happy to see it has not changed. The food was incredible, the wine perfectly paired with our meal and the place was intimate and cozy. We recommend Emilia’s to everyone we know who visits London. If only there was a location in NY! Do yourself a favor and book a reservation immediately!

Such a great place to eat in central London. Reasonably priced and great quality and authentic food. Service was great too. Couldn’t fault our experience and would happily go back

What a find! Such a fabulous little restaurant with delicious (really delicious!!) pasta dishes and great service. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great spot for outside tables overlooking the yachts in St Katherine’s Dock. A nice quiet spot, but the tables, of necessity, are very tightly spaced. There’s a reason it’s popular in the early evening, the pasta and salads are tasty and well priced. I particularly enjoyed the vegan mixed salad with tahini dressing and the vegan pistachio and basil pesto caserecce. Great service too, thanks to the very pleasant and accommodating staff.

The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the fresh pasta. However when we entered the restaurant it was very hot noisy and stuffy. Even though we had made a booking weeks ago we were told that the outside seating was first come first served which was disappointing. The service was very slow and the waiting staff made us feel quite uncomfortable at times, she interrupted our table whilst one of us was still eating and asked if we were finished. I said not quite and she continued to wait and hover at the table making me feel pressured to finish my food. I think it’s rude to clear place before the whole table has finished their meal we said we didn’t want desserts and the waitress seemed disappointed and almost annoyed by our response. We then asked for the bill and asked if we could split it they gave us no time at all to work out how to divide it and when we asked if we could do a specific way we were met with more eye rolls. The service was very slow and I just found the team to be rude and unfriendly. They forgot a few things we asked for such as glasses for water and spoiled the experience a bit.
