Emilia’s Aldgate is a fresh pasta restaurant located in the City within a few minutes’ walk of Aldgate/Aldgate East tube stations. It's our second restaurant following on from our first critically acclaimed and award-winning restaurant.

At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in our restaurant in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen. In true respect of Italian tradition, we use certified Italian produce and try our best to ensure no additives, artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything unnatural is in our food. We believe that food is much better when it’s 100% natural.

Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s bar/counter seating (overlooking the open kitchen), normal tables, high top bar seats and a covered outdoor terrace.

                                      We had the bolognese, the pistachio and basil pesto and the tomato sauce with basil and buffalo mozzarella for main courses and everything was delicious, with the right amount of flavour. For desert we had the fabulous tiramisù and the extraordinary cheesecake. The food was excellent and the staff was very nice.

                                      This was my second visit to this restaurant as we were then going to see a show at Wilton's Music Hall and it is very convenient. We were greeted by a very courteous and friendly member of staff, told to sit where ever we would like as there were very few people in at that time and left to study the menu. A waitress appeared to take our drinks order and then our food order. The drinks arrived very quickly and the food was also quite quick although they do prepare it freshly. I chose a pasta meal I wouldn't make at home and it was delicious and lived more than up to expectations. I struggled to finish and then had coffee - no dessert as there was no way I could manage it! They were in no hurry to rush us on as it was quiet. I will definitely return if I am in the area again and give it five stars for everything from the greeting to the farewell!

                                      As an Italian living in London I have to say, Emilia's Pasta is unbelievably good. I highly recommend it. And it's a good value for money too.
