Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Tom oversees the menu and together they cook and share a love for Italian food and natural wine. The dining room is hosted by Lucy Mastroddi and Paul Seckler along with Alice Phillips.

This was the first chance I had to eat at Emilia’s and enjoy a glass of wine or two and it was worth the wait.

Delicious food from a short menu The restaurant is small but friendly and well staffed The food is exceptional It is justifiably expensive as the quality of every item is very high A real treat. We have been repeatedly and never been disappointed

Our table was lucky enough to have Jessica looking after us. She did an outstanding job - friendly, cheerful all together very positive. On top of it the food was simply delicious. Well done Emilia!

Emilia continues to be outstanding. Last night’s meal was our favourite yet, every dish was superb, great service, great atmosphere - cosy, relaxed, looked after fromthe moment you step in until the moment you leave.

A great local restaurant, using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Very tasty food, with a menu that changes regularly to adjust to local products availability. A very good wine list, with some natural wines and out-of-the-beaten-track little gems. Great ambiance and really nice and friendly staff. Do we need to say it’s our favourite restaurant in Devon ?

Just lovely. Gorgeous interiors and as it only has a few tables it doesn’t feel cramped. Service, wine and food all wonderful.

The food at Casa Emilia is wonderful - tasty and top rate, with interesting pairings. Every dish we chose was delicious - the gorgonzola is heavenly! They encourage you to share plates and this works much the best. If you only want one plate near the end of the list, you will be waiting a while! It was very busy and noisy but the staff are attentive and friendly. A brilliant place.
