Located at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin, Emeril's Coastal is the first of Emeril’s Restaurants in Northwest Florida. The cuisine of Emeril's Coastal is symbolic of Emeril’s deep appreciation and connection to the water. Combined with the bountiful variety of nearby fresh Gulf seafood and the freshest local ingredients available, Emeril’s Coastal strives to embark you on a seafood experience like no other. Not sure if it was just a bad night, but our food took long, fish wasn't cooked all the way, not all food came out together, fries were cold, food was expensive and the overall experience didn't seem to justify the price. Restaurant seemed to be ran by a bunch of people with little experience in the restaurant industry. However, no one was rude, place was clean, and ambience was good.

We were seated right away. Waiter…Parker.. was great Wine… Emeils wonderful I highly recommend

Awesome! Was on a short vacation. Had already been here once during the week and cancelled another restaurant reservations to return here two days later. Was sooo glad! (Just sad the crab claws were all gone) Sat at area so we could watch the action going on behind the scenes. Will definitely return.

Wonderful Experience Emeril’s Coastal is a beautiful somewhat upscale restaurant without pretense. The ambience is classy, but not stuffy. There is a trendy central bar area, well spaced tables both regular and high top with Scandinavian style furniture and a well trained and attentive staff. We were seated immediately even at 7 pm Friday (we had a reservation) and drink orders were prompt. The wine list is modest both in selections and price, but there is suitable variety. There were several Greek selections which is rare (and Santorini makes some fabulous white wines). We selected a variety of appetizers—fresh tuna wrap, gumbo, crab bisque, Blue Point Oysters, and crab claws which were about the best we ever had (and we’ve eaten crab claws from perhaps 50 restaurants over the past 50 years). All the dishes were prompt, inventive and perfectly executed. I have eaten in Destin for years and Emeril’s has to rank at or above the Vue, Surfing Deer and Fleming’s. It is not to be missed.

We loved dinner here!! I come every time I’m in the area, and 4 out of 4 times has been awesome. Our waitress was so sweet. We sat at the chefs table and really enjoyed watching the kitchen staff make it all happen. Salads and apps came out very fast but the entrees were a bit slower, but still amazing overall!

Although we had an 8 PM reservation, but we did not get seated until 830. It was obvious that the staffing of waiters and waitresses was insufficient. Once we were seated, however, the service was very good. The food was fine overall, but subpar for an Emeril’s restaurant. I had tilefish with andouille sausage crusting. It seemed like there was A lack of flavor which I’ve never experienced before with anything containing andouille sausage. The very best thing was the olive oil cake for dessert— exceptional!

Restaurant was average food with high prices. They also added a 2 plus percent “a&e fee/tax” and a 20 percent gratuity on top of that. Plus a 3 percent credit card fee. There was no disclosure on the a&e fee. Food was average at best and restaurant seemed in a bit of disarray as well.
