Ember Yard is the fourth restaurant from Salt Yard Group and has been influenced by our travels around Spain and Italy and their methods of cooking over charcoal and wood.

We commissioned and custom built a bespoke, Basque-style grill and sourced some amazing single species sustainable charcoal and wood from Kent to cook with. We use only the finest seasonal produce, and introduce – as has become our style – our spin on flavours of Spain and Italy.

Ember Yard is located in the heart of Soho and is a lovely two storey restaurant and bar, with an open plan kitchen on the ground floor and a cool and cosy bar on the lower ground floor. The same delicious menu is available throughout and we encourage you to come along before you dine to sample one of our specially created Ember-themed cocktails.

We shared small cheese and charcuterie, octopus, duck, mackerel, salt cod, and broccoli between two. Food, pace of service, and ambience, all excellent! Would return in a heartbeat.

We needed a last minute restaurant for a Friday night with family. It was good and most of the dishes were fairly well executed. As a party of 6 we ended up going for the chefs choice tasting menu. Every thing came out quickly, but the dishes were only luke warm when they would have been better hot. They seemed to rush through our order which was a pity as you didn’t get to enjoy each of the dishes like you do in Spain! Would still return and recommend for those that want to try some Spanish cuisine.

I go to this restaurant a lot and it rarely fails please. The food is consistently tasty and well presented and really quite reasonable for a good standard like this. I will continue to return, as long as they continue to provide. If you're on a first date, an anniversary, having dinner with friends or taking out clients, I'd highly recommend a visit to Ember Yard.

Went a couple of years ago and remembered absolutely loving it. Went back with a friend earlier this week. Ambience great for a Monday. Warm and perfectly pitched music at right level. Delicious food and wine. Great service. Attentive but not overly intrusive. Great for a catch up with a friend. Highly recommend.

I have been to Ember Yard, Soho on several occasions and found the food and service to be excellent, however I found having 3 small slices of cheese charged at £12 to be insulting. Its a similar story with the charcuterie. I have tried all the dishes on the menu and the quality of cooking is high and its all very tasty but there is a reason why its not that busy and that's because the pricing of certain dishes needs to be adjusted.
