                                                    It was a great place for a date night. Loved the hospitality and the ambience. Had celebrated our Anniversary there and we were welcomed with complimentary champagne and dessert. The food and drinks were packed with so much flavour. Looking forward to our next visit again and explore the menu more. They have good vegetarian options as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

                                                    A new Gem for Ottawa! The food and presentation was outstanding. The service was exceptional. This is my new favourite restaurant in Ottawa and I can’t wait to go back.

                                                    Wonderful experience at Ember for a family celebration. Excellent service. Food was divine, well presented with good size portions for sharing family-style. We were a group with some vegetarians, some pescatarians along with a few omnivores and we all had selections to choose from on the menu. Cocktails were interesting and tasty. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

                                                    Our choices were very tasty and enjoyed sitting outdoors. Our server was lovely and attentive. We had a food allergy and she was great at checking in with his options and for some items that could be adjusted. Music was a bit loud and found to be distracting from conversation...which I could have addressed with server but opted not to so as not to change the conversation at our table. Thought perhaps better to address this way so management is aware. Enjoyed our choice and location before heading off to the Les Grands Feux at the Museum of History.

                                                    Everything tasted amazing. Had the spicy crispy tuna and charcoal kissed salmon cold dishes, along with the rigatoni and coal roasted eggplant hot dishes. All mouth watering! Bartender is a mad scientist who has been in the industry a long time and was willing to make a vodka cocktail off menu on the spot! That was greatly appreciated :)

                                                    Our group of 9 senior women enjoyed the food, service, and overall ambiance. Unfortunately, the loud music made conversation difficult. In addition and importantly, telephone contact with Ember to discuss our reservation (as specified on the OpenTable reservation form for groups larger than 8) was impossible. I had to visit the restaurant in person during open hours a few days before to ensure we would could be accommodated at an appropriate table. Overall, we liked the food and service and look forward to returning with a smaller group or when we can sit outside.
