                                                    Excellent service, especially from the bartender, as we were seated at the bar. Food was fantastic, cocktails and wine, too.

                                                    Diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere. We did however find that while ambitous and creative the food was good but not great. Just overall missing bold flavours

                                                    Ember, the newest gem in Ottawa's Byward Market, offers a dining experience that's simply unparalleled. From the moment we arrived, the people-watching was fantastic, adding a vibrant backdrop to our evening. The service, led by our incredible server Joshua, was impeccable, ensuring every detail was perfect. The culinary delights from the kitchen, under the masterful guidance of Ottawa legend Marc Plamondon, were nothing short of spectacular. We savored the baba ghanoush, a bone marrow and steak tartare combo that brilliantly reinvented these classics, delectable East Coast oysters, and an unforgettable beef cheek pizza. Each dish was a testament to the chef's creativity and expertise. To top it off, the cocktails were mind-blowingly good, each one more innovative and delicious than the last. Ember is a must-visit for anyone seeking extraordinary food, top-notch service, and an all-around incredible dining experience.

                                                    This was our third time going, and as always, we had an amazing time! Amazing attentive service, creative cocktails, and delicious food. The menu is so thought out and everything on the plate works so well together. Visually and taste wise! Can't recommend it enough.

                                                    One of the most amazing evenings my wife and I have had downtown Ottawa! The atmosphere, food and especially the cocktails were incredible! This is a must go for anyone looking for a great vibe and excellent service!

                                                    Ember is a new restaurant. The experience was so elevated that I expect this restaurant is going to be considered one of the top restaurants in Ottawa. The combination of upper-level mixology and a menu that features wood oven cooked items made for a wonderful dinning experience. The roasted chicken was the best chicken I have ever eaten, The staff are all topnotch from the floor manager, to the servers, to the support workers.
