Embargo is open and is the place to be on Cape Cod, featuring a chic and sophisticated atmosphere with amazing food and handcrafted cocktails. Our menu features dry aged steaks cooked to perfection, mouth watering tapas, and of course, fresh local seafood. Each meal becomes an event when shared with friends and family!

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, we do not guarantee reservations for outdoor patio seating. Tables are sat on a first come, first serve basis. If you have a reservation and request outdoor seating, you may endure a brief waiting period. All reservations are held for 10 minutes and will be considered cancelled without a phone call. Great food and wonderful service. Loved the vibe. The restaurant is in a good location and it was an easy walk from our hotel.

The Tuesday night half priced tapas is the best deal on the Cape! The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the live music just completes the whole experience. The restaurant was packed when we arrived, and yet thd kitchen turned out its usual amazing food in a timely manor. I'm pretty much a regular at Embargo, and I've never had a bad experience.

This was definitely not my favorite place in Hyannis. The food was average. The ambiance was average, probably for a much younger crowd (20s and 30s). I don’t think I will be back.

Service was fast and friendly. Some of the dishes were of poor value. $16 for 1 spring roll and $26 for approximately 1oz of lobster drenched in butter seems hardly appropriate. We spent $240 and left hungry. The drink choices were great and were our favorite part. Great quality taste and worth the expense.

We went on a night with live music, which was good. Sound levels were just right for enjoyment and conversation. The tapas and the service were both very good.

Such a fabulous place! The experience was excellent! We like to eat at the bar- the bartenders cater to you as if there’s no one else there! They make excellent drinks and the service was stellar. Food was also excellent. How this restaurant isn’t already five stars is beyond me- there’s something for everyone- I can’t say enough about them!

First time at this restaurant and we will return. Service was super, food was really good, overall excellent. One negative comment: My wife and I shared the tuna Tartar tower. Came with one cracker or won ton chip. Not enough for the two of us so we asked for another one and was charged $0.50. Found that to be cheap especially when we spent $160 including a bottle of wine
