Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

What an amazing dining experience! I highly recommend the hot honey halloumi and the chicken kefta. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

Got to meet Chef Owner CJ tonite and he was very gracious and friendly. His new Ema in Glenview is a beautiful restaurant and totally enjoyed the whole experience. The Brisket Kefta kabob plate was the star for me. Good cocktails also. Get place to celebrate a special occasion.

Been reading all the wonderful reviews and have to say I’m right there. Everything was wondering. The restaurant is lovely and I love that the tables are spaced far enough apart. Our server Erin was great, explained everything and made suggestions. We had the potato latkes, Brussel sprouts and charred eggplant. Everything was very tasty and loved that we could share. We then shared the Short Ribs which were also delicious. That was plenty of food for the 2 of us. Lots of people walking around, restaurant is airy and peaceful. Wasn’t sure I would like it but can’t wait to go back.

Service was outstanding - particularly wait staff and other service staff. Managers who came to our table were engaging and welcoming. Food had elevated ingredients, flavors and presentations. We will go again soon. Only disappointment was the braised short rib sandwich. We assumed it would be the same braised short rib that Wildfire serves but it was not. I got some fatty gristle in my sandwich and the cabbage slaw was way too vinegary.

Ema Glenview has only been open for 5 days, and you would have thought they had been there for years! The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. All of the servers, the owner, the manager were so welcoming and accomodative. We will be back many times in the future.

Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - some portions were a bit smaller than our server told us they would be but the food was extremely flavorful and filling, particularly since we ordered a lot of different dishes to try!

Bright, vibrant, beautiful space, great ambience. Food was very good - we shared plates, and enjoyed the eggplant spread very much; crispy potatoes were excellent, brussels sprouts were outstanding, and plenty for four people. Really liked the grilled chicken skewers, but rice was just meh. Room was quite full at 5:30pm, and I think our server, who was very nice, and helpful, did a good job trying to take care of several tables. A wonderful addition to the suburban restaurant scene - we will definitely return, and bring friends, to try some of the other menu items.

Had a wonderful experience at dinner yesterday. Took my husband here for his birthday. Food was great and service was great. We will definitely be going back.
