Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

WAY too noisy level of conversation. Canned music gave us headaches. Too bad because food was delicious and service excellent.

Everything we had was so delicious! The staff were super friendly and the ambiance was immaculate! I recommended the crispy potatoes, green beans, classics hummus, tahini ceasar salad, spicy brisket kefta kebabs!

Today was our first time in this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing and friendly. Highly recommend to visit and experience Mediterranean cosine.

This is a split review... The food was excellent and the table service was fantastic. Unfortunately, the kitchen was so backed up that it took forever to get our orders to the table. We finally asked our delightful server to pack up whatever was still in the kitchen give us the check so that we could drive home. We'll eat it tonight.

This is the fifth time I’ve been to Ema Glenview since they’ve opened and I always order the Toasted Almond and Garlic Spread. This one was not like the ones I’ve previously ordered. It tasted the same, but the consistency was VERY chunky. It was like eating ground nuts and not spreadable at all. I first thought it was just a particular section of the spread, but it continued throughout the entire plate. I told my server, Alissa, and she said she would let the kitchen know. We continued our meal and I mentioned again how disappointed I was in the spread and she said she told the kitchen staff so they don’t do that again in the future. Also, Alissa knew we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and she acknowledged it in the beginning, but she did not offer the birthday yogurt that adjacent tables received for their birthday. I hold Ema and Lettuce Entertain You to high standards, but they failed to meet my expectations. Alissa stood right besides me as I paid and tipped and I did not appreciate her hovering over me while I selected my tip. I honestly did not want to tip her 20% after the lack of service and attention to detail, but she was standing right over me as I selected my tip.

We had a great server! She explained everything very well. The drinks were delicious. We had do not deserve and the old fashioned. All the food was excellent. Our favorite was the classic hummus and the sweet potato latkes. It was a little pricey, but worth it for a special night out.

Beautiful, “California-style” interior invites gawking to see each corner and texture featured here. Food was delicious—even though we were not sure what we getting, as we don’t usually dine at Mediterranean restaurants. Server (J.T.) was very patient and knowledgeable. Service was excellent—not rushed—even though the restaurant was packed and many people were waiting to get in. Will be back; many other “new” items to discover! Harvey & Frieda Shoemack

Enjoyable high-quality LE restaurant we have come to expect. Ema's is a must stop for those who enjoy small plate sharing.
