Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

Beautiful inside and the food was very good. We had a waiter that was not on top of our order. The timing was way off on the food to the table.

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. Our server, Jesse, was above and beyond fabulous. Her recommendations were spot on snd she was simply delightful. We want to rerun tomorrow!!!🥰🥰

The food was good - our server recommended the eggplant spread and cheese as appetizers and I could eat those everyday, they were so flavorful. We also ordered the salmon and it literally came with two undercooked sweet potato cubes and two tiny carrots, and the salmon was dry - overall the fish was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it. The service was extremely slow. We ordered drinks right away when we sat down, and maybe 15 minutes later ordered an appetizer and our appetizer came before our drinks. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a drink which was super disappointing, and then our second round of drinks were similar - a beer and glass of wine and easily took another 15 minutes. And while the food was good, I thought the braised short rib and salmon were overpriced for the portion.

Ema is a fantastic dining experience and a terrific addition to Glenview! The ambiance is relaxing and beautiful, and the servers could not be more attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and each dish is unique and flavorful. The prices are $$$ but it is a "well-worth it" and enjoyable dining experience!

First time to Ema! Was super excited as Aba is one of our favorite restaurants. Very unique and yummy dishes!

Our experience was very mixed but ultimately disappointing. My wife chose this as a special occasion spot for the night of her 50th birthday (this was noted on the reservation). It's a nice, elegant place with a modern, city-like vibe. We brought our kids and were happy to see they had a separate kids menu. Overall, the food was high quality but I'd certainly hesitate to say it was 'outstanding' - especially for the price. The brussel sprouts were a favorite, crispy & tasty. Classic hummus was very good too. We were divided on others like the stracciatella and falafel. We typically like sweet stuff but the dates were so sweet they were practically inedible. The Chicken Kefta looked good but was way too over seasoned. Our waitress was nice and attentive and the beginning but disappeared for stretches. But the worst was that she completely forgot about the bday, even though I made a point at the beginning of saying we were celebrating a "BIG" birthday. It was getting late for the kids (school night and we couldn't get a rezy before 7:45). What's worse is after settling the bill, we watched her bring a bday treat to the table across from us. It's unfortunate they were so short-sighted and the night had to end on such a sour note.

This was our first visit to the new Ema Restaurant in Glenview. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman Family
