ELY WINE STORE Maynooth is a wine shop that doubles as a wine bar and café with an intimate dining room upstairs where breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch are served. A place where you could buy any of the 400 wines to enjoy there or bring home!

The Wine Store will be an exciting addition to Maynooth’s bustling town centre.
It also has a distinctive design, maintaining some of the original features of the building.

*We are now opening for Monday lunch service 11am - 3pm. This is is currently only bookable over the phone 01-5043709 or just pop in.

Really enjoyed the cauliflower dish - My cousin had the sea bass & it was fresh & served up lovely !

Absolutely no ambience. Tiny uncomfortable wooden chairs to go with tiny tables. Even though I ordered the wine the waitress gave it to my husband to taste. Same thing happened with the bill!!! Unbelievably sexist in 2024! Starter of lamb meatballs was devoid of flavour so I asked for S&P (I never do this)! It took me about 3 minutes to get the attention of a staff member. Needed seasoning again for main course but it had been removed from table - why, I’ve no idea. We weren’t asked if we enjoyed our starters. Were asked about 3 times about our main course. Food was okay but for the price should have been better. The chips were the highlight of our meal. It’s my fourth time there and really not impressed.

This is a super restaurant in a great location in Maynooth. The staff are welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable Nothing is too much trouble. The wine list is extensive and hugely varied - there is never enough time there are so many options to tempt you! As Maynooth residents we are so lucky this star venue came to our high street !

Lovely place to go. We went in for lunch, treated ourselves with a glass of cava. Amazing food, great service awesome ambiance. Highly recommend it!
