ELY WINE STORE Maynooth is a wine shop that doubles as a wine bar and café with an intimate dining room upstairs where breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch are served. A place where you could buy any of the 400 wines to enjoy there or bring home!

The Wine Store will be an exciting addition to Maynooth’s bustling town centre.
It also has a distinctive design, maintaining some of the original features of the building.

*We are now opening for Monday lunch service 10.30am - 2.30pm. Bookable over the phone 01-5043709 or just pop in.

We ate in Ely wine store in Maynooth. Four of us had the beetroot salad which was fresh and lovely. The 5th was equally happy with her sandwich..

The food was excellent. The lunch menu is limited but the staff offered options that weren’t on the menu. It was a cold day and the restaurant would have benefitted from have the wood burner on. The red wine was also cooler than we would prefer. The staff were very accommodating and presented a birthday candle on the cheeseboard.

ELY Maynooth is a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant and wine bar impress not only with delicious food but also with a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The meal was absolutely delightful – everything was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the dessert was a true treat for the taste buds. The staff deserves special praise – very kind, polite, and professional. The prices are surprisingly affordable, which makes this place even more appealing. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy great food in a pleasant setting, ELY Maynooth is a perfect choice!

Very disappointed spent €200 was not worth it. Food was cold. It was freezing sitting in the restaurant. Did not enjoy the experience at all.
