Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Our first time dining at Elvira was an incredible experience! If I could, I’d give more than 5 stars for the exceptional service. Andrea, our server, made our night unforgettable with her wonderful recommendations and genuine care. I had the Rigatoni alla Norcina, which was absolutely delicious, while my husband ordered the Super Arrabiata Pizza. He found it a bit over spicy, and Andrea immediately offered to bring an additional dish to ensure he enjoyed his meal. We declined since we were happy overall, but her thoughtfulness didn’t stop there—she surprised us with a complimentary dessert to make our date night extra special. We also enjoyed a half bottle of Primitivo wine that paired perfectly with the pasta, bringing out its rich flavors. The cozy, charming ambiance truly makes you feel like you’re in Italy. We’ll be back for sureeeee 🫶 and highly recommend!

Great food and great customer service ! The pasta and pizza were soooo delicious. Wish we had left some room for dessert . Definitely coming back !

We had a wonderful experience at Elvira. Our server Sole was outstanding. Every one was friendly and outgoing. We loved the foods and the specialty cocktails. Great for a date night

We love Elvira, and especially the Trippa alla Romana that they do on Saturdays. We visited for a belated second wedding anniversary and had the best evening.

The food and service were great, the restaurant itself is lovely.the wine was delightful. The music was not great and too loud. Recommend surveying the crowd/average age/ vibes before choosing Italian pop music at Christmas.

We had a great time, the place is super nice and cozy, service is very welcoming, they even made special plates for us. The pastas are amazing sourcing the caccio peppe… e Will be coming back just for it. The pizza we had was not great, probably a but hard on the crust… next time I’d try one if the other pizzas. But over all a great experience
