Elm Street Cask & Kitchen is a neighborhood restaurant in Downtown Dallas serving Southern-inspired comfort food, inventive and classic cocktails and an extensive craft beer and wine menu. The menu looked great and restaurant looked nice but service was slow, food came out late and wrong. For example, we ordered 2x a side and only received one, yet were charged bill for two. The dish on menu said pork chop with kale but when it came out it had asparagus.

Today is my birthday so I decided to go here. The service was prompt but the food wasn’t. After waiting for about 25 to 30 minutes for our Dixie fried chicken wings and fried green tomatoes to come out the wings were undercooked. Blood was still visible on the bone and semi-cooked blood on the plate. I sent them back only to get even more undercooked chicken. When I sent the wings back the manager stopped by the table offered to check on the delay, he never returned. Overall the experience was poor at best!!!!

Service was slow and odd. People at the same table got food 30 minutes apart from each other. Some got incorrect sides or never got sides.

Great brunch menu. The staff was very friendly. They made our Mother's Day brunch feel special.

This place was close to the Majestic Theater and had great reviews on food and service. It did not disappoint.

We were greeted upon entering the restaurant and seated immediately. Our server explained the menu and we explained we needed to make a 7:30 theater production. Our server was attentive, the food was delivered timely and was all very good.

My boyfriend and I booked a table here for Valentines Day, because they were having a special. We were seated at 8pm, and we were there for an hour and a half and never even received our salads. No attention from the waiter or anyone else, and no communication about the wait at any point. The ambiance was cute. The drink that I had was pretty good. But I would not recommend this place, at least not on a holiday when there are a bunch of tables seated. Hopefully they can get more staff in there.
