I had a wonderful experience at Ellyngton’s. I made a reservation for 12 to catch up with my cousin over brunch, and everything went smoothly. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, especially our server, Dowa (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name), who made us feel very welcomed. The ambiance was relaxing with elegance. With the soothing sounds of jazz playing in the background. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. After such a pleasant visit, I’m excited to return and see how Ellyngton’s dinner service compares.

What has happened to the Brown Palace? We arrived on time for breakfast, seated swiftly and served water and coffee. We didn't see our server until 25 minutes, after we were seated. Food arrived 65 minutes after we were seated.

The hotel is decorated very nice and great to take in prior to dining;however, the type and quality of food provided at the Christmas buffet is not worth the $125 per person charge.

Made reservation 4 months in advance to wait in ling line to check in at exact time; not offered any champagne, table not ready, did mot offer to take coats and had no where to place all our coats. Waiter had way too many tables so sat without drinks most of the time. Coffee served cold with no cream Too loud. A 20% tip was then added to a 6 top table with a child that was a buffet. No way did anyone deserve $150 and could not keep our drinks full!!!!

Always an exceptional experience; I made a personal request and was accommodated without question - Ellyngton’s is far above all others in similar markets locally.

Very rough start. We waited 40 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence. No water. Nothing. Eventually DAWA did fabulous job making up for the problem., and covered our drinks and cut the bill in half. Food was good. Loved Gabriel Mervine Trio.

Amazing Christmas Jazz Brunch! Service was incredible, food amazing, jazz band was fantastic!! Highly recommend this place.

In a word, Disappointing! We have been to Ellyngton's for brunch many times over the years. If this is the new level of service to be expected, we will never return. Upon arrival, we waited over 15 minutes to be asked if we wanted anything to drink. When our meal was served, we had not received the appetized we had ordered. The eggs benedict I was served was overcooked. The yolk was almost completely hard. We had planned on having a nice, pre-Christmas, Sunday brunch and were totally disappointed! So sad!
